I foresee same pattern as KTos, opens with 5 full servers…ends up with 2 half dead server one year later.
Not surprising. Tree of Savior started strong in Korea and literally exploded its servers in tge West, too.
Tree of Savior is an amazing first time experience. The graphics, music, variety of bosses and quests, constantly getting new skills and classes, collections, new areas to explore…
It all goes to hell once that first time freshness is over. Quests and bosses that were interesting the first time are a chore to do again when rerolling, longer term bosses are heavily camped or rushed or just repetitive, skill imbalances come to light, graphics get reused for mobsters and maps, etc.
Tree of Savior had amazing marketing in Japan too. Trailers that made the game look way cooler than it actually is
202k people on at the moment?
I really find that hard to believe.
EDIT: yeah he just added k behind the waiting list numbers silly me
I enjoy this game but it’s slowing getting to me due to the grind trying to level up alts. I’m on Klai server and it seems it’s slowly dying or no one is leveling up alts. Barely any queues in the lower level dungeon and I rarely have any queue in 217 dungeon. Used to have no problems getting my daily three dungeon runs but now I’m lucky to get two during peak time.
When a general forum troller starts botting and turns himself in, it’s just a matter of time till Trump wins, Microsoft finally pulls out the Xbox180 to deal against Sony’s PSVita and Nintendo’s 3DS…yadda yadda yadda…
The game was doomed the moment gook developers thought they can handle the international market release of the game.
wait, who win? what?
lol, I never try to do anything noble like start a resistance/revolution or something… lulz
I just thought "forum is boring now… how to make it interesting… aha!"
yup, so… huehuehuehue
are you not entertained ?
couldn’t agree more~ and the br people still speaking hue-language in International Game forum (referring to the bugdraium thread…)
they expect Corean-GM to google translate or what, lulz
I run 217 Dun all the time but with parties and if I don’t have anyone I run it solo, it gives some decent silver though I burn through a good amount of pots being that I’m a Sorcerer/Necromancer.
unfortunately I’m not strong enough to run solo and all my friends quit
Try joining guilds but apparently they all want the meta build even though I’m a Link/Sorc/Warlock.
Some people wait rank 8 before coming back, others farm silver for attributes rank 8 and not much people reroll.
I always had trouble with 160 175 200 and 217, people skip them or rush boss only or go alone lol.
private server without authorization is stealing. Don’t do it.
Half this stuff youre talking about they made recent announcements that they are making changes to.
for me the reason im 99% not playing again is the upgrade system, i can wait for optimization and help build a nice comunity, but im not wasting my time on a game with RNG gear upgrade and no cap, its simply ridicle, it really feels bad i asked and pushed about this issue when the game was still on beta and i basically got flamed like “the cap is 15 stfu already”. (u can actually find that post on this forum)
dead game? nah.
That’s what is said about every mmo out there. Literally.
Game went down to 10% of it’s initial playerbase? Nah, it’s totally not dying and nothing is wrong with it.
stop crying, this game is not dying.
The game ain’t dying…it’s just barely living…and that counts as still alive
It ain’t dead until the last man standing is a bot! Or there are just cheaters with their bot armies!
IMC’s other game still getting patches. Been around for 10 years… And has 1/10th our population.
This means K and ITOS will lose another 90% of its population!
Well that’s really up to how fast they fix the biggest flaws. The combination of heavy grind and no respecs seems to be the first complaint they’re fixing.
They’re probably looking at the negative reviews on steam and picking out what they can fix the fastest. I’m sure the forums mater to them for feedback. But probably less so then the steam reviews.
