Assuming you are going the invest on weapon and about 3-4 stages of trans on shield.
as i know
rod = faster animation
but staff are more powerful
some staff = 3 socket for gem not 2 it’s more powerful without the 3rd gem
for me staff are better (didn’t select my option too)
there is good things and bad things
jump and auto attack wont work with the staff and i would miss it alot :x
For PvE yes, it is. Higher level transcendence will give you more matk than the rod plus every endgame content will have meltis and ausrine.
both rod and staff have 3 sockets on endgame orange weps
i’ve never touch shield as pyro
i need c action to control my fire balls
it would be rod+dagger or staff
dagger properties doesn’t scale well so it would be staff at end game
non-pyro could go with anything
shield give huge survivability but it’s cost more practo
