Is Spear Throw worth enough to go Hoplite c3 ? and something about Cleave debuff

I plan to raise another Dragoon alt (although i already have a Catagoon) that go with this build : Sword 1>Pelt 1>Hoplite 3>Doppel 1>Dragoon (Im at Hoplite 2 right now)

But Im not sure if i should replace Hoplite c3 with Barbarian c1 for the Cleave debuff
/ Hoplite c3 give me 50 more crit (in the future where lvl cap is 500-600, 50 crit might be not too much, but of course still good) and Spear Throw (not sure how much i will use it when i have more skill in the future)
/ Barbarian c1 will give 50% slash damage for Cyclone + Dragon Soar + Slash skills in the future (even if we don’t have more Slash skills, it’s still good to buff it for teammate), also Cleave +50 crit, too

If Spear Throw is not really good, i think i will go with Barbarian c1

But another important thing i want to know is… does the Cleave 50% debuff is add into the base Cleave skill or it in the form of attribute (at c2 or c3) ?

Spear throw is not that good currently. The bind lasts for 1 hit, it is hard to aim unless melee, animation too slow, it is only 1 hit.

It may be good in the future tho. With a few changes to it and long stride hoplite c3 could be beast in pvp.

But that time is not now.

I would say that right may they are in the same place, hop3 gives a few nice things and the barb cleave would help with cyclone , and some of the dragon skills like dragon soar but once the cap go high this would change so if you want to make a future proof dragoon , i would go hop2 barb1.

it’d be a good filler. 1k extra attack, 3 extra aoe ratio, a large area of attack, and 100% attribute; but, you probably won’t be tanking groups much with a hop. not sure if you’d need it much.

Now that i think about, i think I will continue with Hoplite 3 . The reason i play this char is I like to have Spear theme, throw a Barb here feel too …forced ?, it feel like I accidentally put 1 point into SPR. (rank 6 choice can’t be help :sweat_smile:)

Maybe Spear path will not have too many Slash skills and Spear Throw will have some tweak in the future, and there might be some special benefit for who go to c3 class (like costume), there are hope

You can use gears spear to level to dragoon. 170-225 went very smooth.
Just buff and spear throw male range.

I play same as you build now I’m 250 dragoon.
for me Spear Throw don’t help me much and rarely to use… after I got Cyclone I never use it again… with 0Cd I try to spam skill and it think quite waste of SP… imo you should max your stabbing and finesta then piecre with rest of skill point

Cyclone with 2 overheat is enough for AOE attack
Spear Lunge+Stabbing is best skill for hoplite to fight with boss & Elite mob.
Spear Lunge+Serpentine+Dragon Tooth+Pierce when you reach dragoon, it quite strong combo

*** wish IMC will buff for Finesta… now +150crit is good as lv6 Green gem 5 ea=32x5=160crit) but maybe not enough in future with lv400-600 mob

*** If i don’t miss anything… iTOS cleave +50crit buff but kTOS change this effect into +50slashDMG?? (no+50crit)
