I was about to start a TBL match and the client crashed “due to an unexpected error”. It was even a good team who must hate me now lol
So, I tried to log back in and got the same error on the loading screen. Validated files, Steam found 1 was bad and replaced it, tried again. Same outcome.
Now I tried to validate again twice and there’s 1 bad item every time, which would indicate some file got stuck in a newly damaged SSD block… so I’m assuming I have to redownload the client unless it’s happening to someone else too. Is your game working normally?
