the description seems to imply it, and it having a timer on use seems to point to it too, since they don’t want you to just horde like 15 silver hammers, and upgrade a natural +10 or +15 to +30
its free, not guaranteed. u just don’t spend money, thats what i understand i never used one
you are correct using a silver anvil will not cost you silver.
can only use it once?.
Its like a normal anvil, once used its gone. The good thing is when you upgrade your equips it doesn’t consume your silver
Use it then throw your weapon on the market

its garbage just like the entire enhancement system, have made over 14 grand crosses, have never gotten 1 past +10, 3 manamanas have never got one past +10, 2 maga bows, again never got 1 past +10 - log in today, use silver anvil for 10 to 11 attempt > fail, use my silver to try to get my 10 back > fail > got mad used my silver again > fail, was hoping to get a free +11 this morning, going to bed with a +7 and 1 potential left, gg imc as always

If IMC would let me, I would give you 70 of my golden anvils.
nah ive used over 50 golden anvils myself tbh from several of my alts, the last grand cross I crafted was at 0 potential before it even got to +8, I quit wasting the gold anvils b/c if I ever did make it past 10, to lets say 14 one more fail and it be back down to 10 on a gold, if I’m not in decent shape potential wise approaching 10 now I just start a new item
At that point is it easier to get the didel? Grand cross?
Is using say a musket instead of a qs skill boosting crossbow worse?
nah ive been trying to +15 a grand cross recently b/c I wanted to roll a new alt a2/qs3/sr3 (rnk8) this morning though I finally got 1 to 15, hit 0 potential at +12 and was able to gold anvil this 12 > 15, farming the running shot gem now
