C3 Priest gives way to leveling Sacrament to Lv10 which gives +40 dmg and +40 Holy atk.
My question is, will the +40 dmg be useful at all at high levels? 40 dmg is not really good in the late game I think. But will the skill scale properly if the buff is given at high player level plays?
It’s hard to say. Unlike the other flat damage buffs, sacrament seems to do more damage than what it says. I’m not sure what affects it. From my experience taking the pardoner buffs that people sell, sacrament is pretty good damage at higher levels.
It used to be bugged and wouldn’t cause holy damage, but now it is working properly ( it doesn’t actually make your weapon holy property, though ). It does full holy damage, not +x holy damage and + x regular damage, even though the skill description says that.
There’s currently a bug(?) where anything that is an extra damage buff ( steady shot, concentrate, blessing ) will proc off of your sacrament hits, making it pretty powerful. I think it’ll be fixed though.
I have the same question . I gonna go to Monks , so Priest is my choice first . After reading this 2pic :
I saw that : Circle 1 - **Blessing**; The amount of hits Blessing lasts for is now based on the skill's level (Skill Level * 10). The attribute for Blessing's hit count now adds +10 hits per level (max level of 3).
This would be a great buff to Priest.
If we get this Blessing max , do we need Sacrament ?
And btw , at rank 4 , I should go to Priest c3 or Paladin , which way is better ?
Hope to hear your ideas
For me, Im going for Pardoner, so the Lvl 10 Sacrament will be a great buff to sell. So, Im going for C3 Priest.
For a Monk I’m not too sure. What do you want from the Paladin to benefit the Monk class? Maybe going Pally makes it easier to grind to Monk? Idk. Or maybe do you want the Restoration aura and the Resist elements buff? It’s all up to your preference probably.
You can read this thread which basically discussing the same thing as you:
Level 10 it gives additional damage of 40 (the secondary hit) and +40 holy attack, which is applied to your normal and secondary hit. That is why it gives more damage than people would think.
Fire Enchant works the same.
Blessing doesn’t give you extra hits. But it increases the damage of every extra hit you have, like +elemental
damage does.
Ah, true. Pretty sure at one point blessing wasn’t adding to my sacrament, so maybe that was a bug, and was fixed ( this was when Sacrament wasn’t applying holy damage ).
So, blessing is really powerful if you stack extra hit effects. Sacrament adds to this, as well. Auto Attack + Fire Enchant + Sacrament + (Steady Shot/Concentrate) = Blessing x4 ( at max attribute/lvl, that’s 170x4=680 ), which is even better now that blessing lasts for 10 hits * SKILL LVL.
