i wasnt killed with one skill by a 166 sadhu in a friendly duel… im a barbarian 176. you would think it was a hack… you are unable to move or act while taking 5k damage over any amount of time with out being able to respond whatsoever… what kindve bullsht is this? im not able to use giant swing on anything and they can literally drop me with a 20second cooldown on the protective cube and set healer cubes up… thats absolutely unbalanced.
Yeah, it works like that, possession is one of the best skills in game, but you can easly counter it since it is channeling, now in 1v1 you need to knowdown or stun the Sadhu before he locks you in possession.
i would have sworn it was a hack… dont get me wrong… i killed him. after i saw this … but in the second duel… he literally had 15 healing spells on the ground stacked up. is that normal too?
If Sadhu didn’t have Possession… honestly it’d be a dead class. Even more than it is now.
People choose Fletcher because it’s broken.
People choose Plague Doctor because they make CC a joke.
People choose Sadhu mainly for this one skill. Rarely for only OoB.
That said, Possession is extremely susceptible to a breeze. The slightest hit-stun will knock one out of it, since it’s a channeling ability. However, if there’s no interference, you’ll get…well, nuked. Possession is the pride and power of Sadhu’s, and really the one good skill they have at the moment.
Yup, it is normal if he did Cleric 3 so he can cast 15 cells of heal twice before CD.
i mean for a total of about 100 cells stacked? i took video of our 3rd duel just to show i think its a hack… ive been in dungeons with primary healers and have never seen so many cubes on the ground… i dont know if they were all healing cubes seeing i dont know about many other classes than my own.
Well, Cleric3 can cast 15 healing cells +1 extra cell with Divine Might +1 extra cell if he has monster gem = 17 cells x 2 (since heal has overheat) = 34 cells with a cd of 22 seconds. Not many healers take Cleric3 and even when they od it, not many take Heal 15. But I would like to see the video just to be sure.
Nothing wrong. Possession is easily avoidable because it has a 1s cast time and you can see the animation of any Sadhu casting it.
It’s only a real problem for distracted swordsman classes, because against any archer or mage it will be unnafective.
So, yeah. Other classes have much better CC than possession for PvP. The skill is strong at PvE, but too situacional for PvP
