First of all I gotta say I’m archer class and I believe many people do this. You leave sth to permapress your auto attack button (tape or something with weight) and leave you char afk at Tenet Garden or anyother map where the mobs wont kill you. Just looking for some extra stilver when we dont have the time to play, but occasionally there are people who pm me saying they reported for doing this. Just curious and want to ask IMC Gaming if this is allowed.
Leave your pet to do it and it’s fine. But you set up an autoattacking sentry gun, I’ll go out of my way to icewall you over to a desolate area.
AFK autoattacking is considered a macro. Honestly I even report people AFK-farming with necromancer because that’s some nonsense that shouldn’t exist. AFK pet farming is so underwhelming I don’t really mind.

Leaving something to permapress your auto attack is not different than building a robot to press the auto attack button for you. It’s not allowed
And how are pets and Necro summons any different?
Pets struggle to even kill high level mobs before they die, while necro summons can happily afk-farm high density spawn points for you even in higher level maps. See also: entire parties sitting afk while their necro guildmate afk-farms beefarm for them.

Both shouldn’t be bannable in the slightest.
If the admins hate auto attackers like that, they could easily make it different. that you have to press for attacking after 5 seconds again or something. If people make macro’s to dodge that issue, that should be bannable then.
Pets just work that way from necro, doesn’t require any player input. not reason to be bannable in the slightest.
Now its just a smart way to make some cash when you sleep.
I also do this.
Previously I’d message the necro to ask if they’re actually there using their SP pots as opposed to using a macro for them. After the 100th extremely aggressive response for doing nothing except trying to get rid of some cheaters in the game I just don’t bother and report all of them now.
I’ve got nothing against the ones who are actually at their PC using sp pots, but I don’t want to deal with the insults and offensive nonsense that comes from trying to check if those people are actually there. Most people can be pretty awful.

You can afk with necromancer, its allowed.

For the duration of 1 SP pot, sure. You have to use your SP pots yourself though. If you’re using anything to automatically use SP pots then you’re doing something bannable.

You think about sorcerer
Necro summon don’t use sp
-Let say the classic dina Afk Farm-
Shoggot is way weaker than sorcerer summon Dps LV
Both of them are are tanky enoug to not die.
Skeleton will eventualy die overtime (15-60 min depeding if they get help or not)
Never reach this point but it probably possible to AFK farm with shoggot only in dina bee with a good shield boosted + maybe some poison resit headgear or something like that.
You will eventualy die with only shoggot if you only got a normal shield once the top and the bottom break (whitout skeleton and sorc invoc and can break kinda fast 2-5 hour depeding on many factor)
Some Sorcerer / Necro use bot program
Some Sorcerer use auto Pot
Not All Sorc/Necro do that.
Some use a timer for when they need to use a SP pot while doing something else.
A fully legit 100% Afk Sorc/Necro or whatever will only have shoggot after a while (unless skeleton can survive but in this case of dina bee they die kinda fast)
