I´m curious about this because it seems everyone hates iTOS according to the forums and the drop in player base on Steam.
So is the game alive or something? I see people playing, not many guild advertisers, I even put out a guild request and there was no one interested in me, though that could be related to low level.

Guilds have limited space and can be quite costly. Furthermore only a rank 7 class can create guild therefore most guilds would want players around 280+ or at least rank 8.
The game is pretty lively in SEA.
jToS is doing very well… 130k+ players online simultaneously on all servers combined.

they have costumes in TP shop still and there is almost no bot problem… - @atari please confirm if I am wrong

I have not been playing there actively but i did manage to get an account and get a character to Klaipeda… ping was kind of bad for me. on Orsha i get like 20-40 ms ping. there i get like 190-220… playable, but I love monks so it does not work for me.

jTOS peak CCU is ~125k
That’s like 20 times more players.
If we assume that ~3k are actively playing players from SEA (CCU peaks are during SEA prime time) then you can cross-queue with 3k people if you are playing on SEA servers.
3k vs 125k -> 40 times (!) difference for instanced queueing.
500~1.5k vs 16k-38k players per server.
Let me conclude that iTOS is dead. SEA is half-dead.

There are lots of them. But less than on iTOS I guess. I saw 2-3 lv 260 bots, but reporting them and not seeing them few days later is … satisfying.
Also I see lots of lv70~120 constantly created new bots. Nowhere near well known iTOS macroers/botters/hookers. IMC doesn’t give a fluffy about them.

I actually do not mind non tradable token.
If they indeed ban bots and you do play with 125k people in the same q. I do not mind paying for token out of my own pocket.
If iToS gets worse, i might just switch to play a non ping dependant character… like a dragoon or something, or a full support cleric of some sort
once upon a time we had 50k players…but IMC made no serious effort to keep them unlike Nexon Japan.
A MMO with 125k players is worth paying a monthly subscription.
Learning 45 katakana symbols to read class names and other foreign stuff is totally worth it.
Also good old “160 ID 3/5” never fails (yes, you can do lv160 dungeon there).

How’s the economy there? Not as inflated as iTOS’ (SEA specifically)?
Enchant scrolls are 3 times cheaper than on Silute, the rest is pretty much the same price. The economy seems to be roughly the same there.
Those costumes though. They are few times cheaper than on Fedimian.
The premium tab on Fedimian must suck, on Silute most trash-costumes are on the 800k-1m range like jTOS, the more expensive ones being around 2m (most ‘rare’ costumes like Ranger C3 aren’t sold on the market but they’d go higher than that).
