Is it worth going Chronomancer for the costume?

My original plan was Wizard > Pyromancer > Linker > Thaumaturge > Sorcerer > Necromancer,

but Chronomancer’s costume… is the most adorable one in the game.

And all of the classes I’ve chosen so far have had hideous costumes (with the exception of the base class wizard)

If I changed my build to Wizard > Pyromancer > Linker > Thaumaturge > Chronomancer > Sorcerer,
Wizard > Pyromancer > Linker > Thaumaturge > Chronomancer > Necromancer,
Wizard > Pyromancer > Linker > Thaumaturge > Chronomancer > Chronomancer,
Wizard > Pyromancer > Linker > Thaumaturge > Sorcerer > Chronomancer
Wizard > Pyromancer > Linker > Thaumaturge > Chronomancer > Thaumaturge,

which one would work the best?

We are in the same boat… It’s hard to choose because Chrono costume surely at 10/10 score. :tired_face:

I wouldnt say that Thauma costume looks bad, especially on female characters.
And linker one is for someone with nurse outfit fetish…

that depends on your preferred play style. If your current character is pyro> linker > thauma and plan to take chrono, then you have several options:
pyro 2 (for twice as much damage from fireballs, longer flame ground and fire pillar)
linker 2 (for linking more targets and knotting them for longer time)
thauma 2 (swell right arm is a good buff for both tanks and dps)
chrono 2 (havent played, but haste with its attribute gives something that mage-y classes lack - survivability via evasion)
sorc (i doubt taking rank 5 class for rank 6 will do any good for dps, but buffs from cat are nice and that extra sp regen from attribute surely helps, salamion is also good for taking attention of monsters and taking hits for you)
Necro (is a nice addition to dps for free via skeletons and shoggoth, they also take homing attacks for you from mage-y monsters)

Why are you tanking one circle of linker? That is gimping yourself even more . -_- Also, Female Chronomancer outfit is bland as heck. Either take two circles of Linker, in to Chronomancer, or take three circles of Pyro/Cryo.

How much evasion does the Chronomancer attribute for Haste give?

flat 20 evasion per level of attribute, maxed at level 5. Think of it as if you had 100 additional dex for your evasion.

Is it worth going Chronomancer for the costume? I would say no. The costume is not worth it if it’s going to negatively affect your gameplay experience. It’s an entire rank! At launch or later after, you could buy a premium costume like a shrine maiden outfit or a maid uniform! It wouldn’t be that hard to make new character models for those, right…?

but i think that is going to have more costumes when OB release, dont worry about that, just choose the build u want to do

Chronomancer have only one usefull skill - haste, but it is awesome. So if u want to run fast and be cute, go on. But it will cost u rank 5 and 6. I am currently pyro 3 chrono 2. Have enough damage to get loot from Dullahan without any party. But i think i will not going chrono at obt in any build.
