the updates given out today has said now iTos will require visual studio to run
but i didn’t install any related software in my PC while i can run TOS as before. so is it necessary for me to install one? would it improve my game performance if i download and install it?
It’s always been required, you probably have it already since many games require it and install automatically during installation.

You probably already have the 2017 version installed already which means you dont need to worry about this update.
Hmmm, not quite, if the game require the 2015, it means the instructions in the code use the 2015’s one, so it IS required, but as I said, most people don’t know they have almost or all versions installed if they had/have many games installed on their machine.
Not only games, softwares also require different versions.

No need to Visual Studio, you need just runtime library.
If TOS is starting up, you don’t need to do anything.
If not, you need install this: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=48145 (Can’t tell for sure, because i already have it)
