I think that’s a fair assumption. They’ve stated previously that the korean version is where they are doing tests on balance patches first and then giving us final or even different versions. I figure we’ll get a comprehensive patch after things are more stable.
@Endurance Like I said, I understand where and why people are concerned about the way IMC is handling things or choices that they have made. However these threads of the game dying, that IMC doesn’t care, ect are just fanning the flames and while sometimes do have good discussion in them because other players with more level heads come in, do not do much other than scare off potential players and increase the general frustration.
I don’t know, but I make the assumption that this game was never meant to be the next #1 MMORPG or at least not expected to be, ToS is a game that shows it’s been a labor of love. It’s also catering to a very niche audience. It has a lot of major in game issues right now that need fixed.
The players were the ones who hyped it up as the next big thing and then pushed for early access, early release–every single thing IMC stated they were worried about happening and why they had wanted to do a 3 month early access instead of one month to prepare for release, it’s almost all happened and then some. If players hadn’t been rioting in the forums we might have seen a proper launch of the game in a far more stable state.
But who knows? We didn’t get it. We have what we have now.
As far as lack of content? It’s because they’re fixing stuff. kToS has been getting new updates for quests and content, as well as filler quests for older maps that had none in like the 250 range.
