I don’t think they’re doing this. But what i DO know is that we’re less than 2 weeks away from the f2p launch and they’re worried about what methods bots use to get into the game RIGHT NOW. This is really short sighted and doesn’t actually matter, what they need to do is look into a solution (or more realistically, a way to live with bots) for when they can just create thousands of accounts daily for no cost.
This makes no sense. That would hurt them and give them no profit.
Well from the beginning I thought IMC encouraged botting because every bot registration costs 10$. When I saw how ridiculously high silver was priced and how IMC continued to ignore spammers in shout I even suspected them for selling silver. With such decisions it has even more sense.

Ok were tight and good to go! EVERYONE WAKE UP!! IMC is useing bots to farm silver and and open their own silver selling websites! They sell idiots the silver and then ban them! They make plenty of profit off of people to lazy to play and then they ban them so it never reappears in the market!

- Theres a 2 day waiting period to receive Silver from the Market board so IMC has plenty of time to ban them before they can use the silver!

One of my friends tried it, bought founder packs @ cheaper priced region to a dummy account, bought tokens, sold on market, give silver to his main. Didn’t even have a use for the dummy accounts he had, unless he Z-Botted them in-game. He must’ve been rich as fck.
I didn’t even know how many he bought, cause he’s BARNEY!

I do believe imc is working on the bot problem and I understand that people are annoyed with them.
But understand that many people are also tired of reading the same things over and over. We certainly don’t want the GM to feel like they are working for nothing and that they won’t get players satisfaction in any way. And I don’t believe they deserve those kind of prejudice. They are human people too.
This game is awesome but it’s not perfect. So can we work together instead of trying to divide the gm + players community.
