I’ve heard all this hype but it’s never lived up to it IMO. In the end I just dropped it for the skill points, because auto-attacking to slowly raise damage is just hassle. I never felt the time it takes was worth it. I know it got nerfed before early access, but since people are still taking it it’s making me wonder… is there something I’m missing?
The only reason I’d take Frenzy atm is if I got one or Sissel bracelets (fat chance
), because of the 8 stacks damage bonus.
Atm I’ve got War Cry and its attributes maxed (40 second duration, 10 mobs, -60 def from each mob… meaning I get 600 atk under optimal conditions). I usually pull at least 4 or 5 mobs at a time* to make good use of my AoE attacks like Earthquake and Cyclone so that’s consistently 240~300 atk and the full 600 in crowded maps, almost instantly compared to having to spam auto-attack for 15-20 seconds.
It takes 20 auto-attacks to get the full 400 atk Frenzy buff, which gets halved to 200 if you’re using the Maintain Stacks attribute. I’m just not sure why some people like Frenzy so much. I know you can get both but points are scarce, so again, I’m just wondering if there’s anything that makes Frenzy a must-have.
What do you guys think? Am I missing something?
*Sometimes more, and outside of dungeons I don’t actually need buffs like Frenzy or Warcry to deal with enemies.
