Is elements even worth it? Elements or Lydeka? for 2h spear

Post 220 for… Why, again? Because there are so many Large field monsters, right?
Elements will do more damage vs cloth/ghost. It also benefits from Sacrament, which doubles if the enemy is Holy weak, and Conviction.
Functionally, just get what’s available at a reasonable price point. However, don’t listen tto people spewing that Catacombs Pike is amazing, and think it’s worth the inflated price.
Large mobs yes. If u can go lydeka if u r budgeting.
Myself going high Str build as I go hoplite3. So catacomb pike that boost crit help me a lot wit dmg.
Currently lv230 I got 460 Str 63 Dex (with +3 all stats bracelet)
23 crit rate is almost nothing, Certainly not worth 4x the price.
And the base dmg, crit & vs large dmg. yes for me. Anyhow its all ur choice. If u alrdy have something in mind. Jus feel free to do as u like. I’m only suggesting.
Elemental dmg doesn’t now crit. Weapon like catacomb pike give nice base dmg.
23 crit seems nothing. But if u add up socketed crit gem. It suits my build. I do agree on u that catacomb pike is overprice now. I got mine 2mil+. Currently market is selling 3.9m onwards.

Anyway u can always farm some rare to sell on market to get more silvers. Observe market on item pricing. Determine which is demanded or high price material/recipe that worth farm or currently out of stock. If it’s out of stock = sell high price. Always go for those limited listing. U doesn’t need to sell highest price for that particular item.
Elemental doesn’t crit, but it’s not affected by armour penalties and it’s boosted by other effects.
Ya it’s jus 50 of each elements. Which dmg boost is limited to one elements and there always another elements is suffering penalty as well.

ANd by boost i meant by Sacrament, and other effects that add extra hits, as well as anything that lowers one of the four ressitances.
lol catacomb pike can get the buff too… so dont take those into account. just take self buff if u like…
