I am full DEX and fighting things 25-32 levels lower than me and only critting maybe 1 out of 15-20 times.
I stream all the time and have video of myself at 20 levels lower fighting the same stuff with lower Crit Rate stat and critting every other if not every swing… what is going on here?
I’m critting at good rate on mobs 5 levels higher than me, name what specific mob you are fighting and your class
Hmmm I’m only half crit and I crit every like 4th or 5th attack.
My stats are 43/10/4/4/63 Respectively and I’m a 64 Barb.
lvl 113 in Royal Mausoleum using Skull Crusher with 216 Crit Rate (w/ buff) and 160 w/o buff. Tried every enemy on 1st, 2nd and 3rd floor was just messing around farming some material.
Even with my (crappy) sword I’m not critting and these enemies are weaker to blunt weapons…
I have +92 Crit dmg from Skull Crusher and a +41 Crit dmg on my hat - I know dmg doesnt increase chance, just noting that I’m built completely around cirts, blessing and sacrament with Smite for clusters.
My Stats are:
Cleric > Priest > Priest > Paladin > Chaplain (once I get next rank)
25 STR
33 CON
8 INT
20 SPR
160 DEX
295 Accuracy
155 Crit Attack (dmg)
160 Crit Rate (chance) - 216 w/ Monstrance buff active
Sorry to say this but Priest3 is a must for Chaplain.

Your level is factored into the Crit formula.
Formula is approximately.
((Crit Rate - Crit resist.)*42)/200.
Your enemies have lower Crit Resist then enemies your level but you’re also a higher level then when you fought them before.
Basically Crit Rate does not increase past 50/60% easily with Dex to break past you’re going to want buffs/gems/equip.
