Is Cripple Recipie hard to find? (2H spear ideas)

Just wondering how much the recipe normally costs and if anyone has an idea how rare it is from the cube?

My cata is only 107 now and I lucked out on upgrading and have a +12 Lydeka with full potential and 2x Lv5 green gems. Originally, I was thinking to just try to sell it for hopefully a couple of mil and grab cata pike, but right now, it has higher bases than cata. Is it worth it still to pick up a cata at 170 and just upgrade that (since obviously it’ll quickly overtake Lydeka damage wise with a few anvils (and unfortunately some serious silver) or is it better to save up and try to get a cripple? I’m just not sure how rare the recipe is and if it’s something attainable or if it’s like a 30mil recipe.

Also, if there are any other good options out there, I’d love to hear them (there seem to be some solid white pikes for 220, and it makes sense to me to use upgraded versions of those instead of cata)

i dont see the point of wasting so much silver on a lvl 75 spear who is going to be replaced anyway :smiley: and you even +12 it and put gems in it
a cata +12 is much stronger than your lydeka, and thats basically is your mistake, wasting so much silver on a lvl 75 weapon that will be replaced in 3-4 days (basically the time it takes to reach lvl 170 from lvl 75)
cripple or cata pike it doesn’t really matter, if you are a cataphract i’d choose catacombs pike, but its really a matter of preference.
about your original question - cripple drops from a lvl 275 world boss called mirtis, given that its a lvl 275 world boss im almost sure its an expensive spear,
imo you made a very bad mistake investing so much in lydeka.

I think it’s a matter of interpretation. The spear cost me nothing to make as I had all the mats for it. It cost me 1,321,132 silver to upgrade it to +12 to make a spear that I can use at lvl 75 with 335 - 414 damage. For a spear I’m using for 100+ levels, it seems like a decent investment. Lydeka also give 19 str and an additional aoe attack ratio over catacombs.

But I’m not going to go into what I see as the benefits of the spear and considering that I have a high level archer to farm for my alts, that’s not that large of an amount of money to worry about imo. I am more concerned with the options at 170 and 220. I think it’s worthwhile to use the spear to 220 but not sure if 220 white pikes are accessible enough to overshadow cata pike. And again, am wondering how accessible Cripple is from people who have gotten the recipe.

there aren’t really any 220 whitep ikes that are better than catacombs pike, cata pike gives aoe ratio critical rate more damage to impaler and more damage to large targets, its a really good spear, that and cripple are the strongest spears in this game.

I am saving for this if suddenly someone sells it in market hehe. Hey I already saw a couple of shark cutters which is also a drop in mirtis cube.only 20m So hopefully cripe is the same price.
