Is cleric a bad choice for grinding?

I’m level 25 cleric atm but one thing i notice is that i only have two attacking skills both of which you put on the ground and the monsters have to walk over them. Both have like 25 second cooldown. In that time they are cooling down i don’t deal any damage. My autoattacks do like 1 dmg. I see swordsman and archers plowing through large groups of mobs and I get my kills stolen all the time by them.

Is it me or are clerics in this game just bad? They don’t seem to have enough attacking skills. I’m thinking about later on ingame where I will need to grind mobs…these current skills I have are not nearly enough.

My build btw is this…

Trust me, that’s just the peak of the iceberg where clerics initially suffer.
Once you get to the level 50 and level 95 dungeon instance, clerics will shine because of their support capability/utility. A dungeon party will almost always wait until they get at least one cleric class in their party as a healer / semi-healer|semi-dps

Lol, what I did was just Change Channels constantly after defeating a monster. I feel you. Level 31 Cleric. Feel like I ain’t going anywhere.:disappointed_relieved:
I believe it’s just best to have Cleric in a party for healing/buffing…Lay Def down smack once or twice then run away like a coward :scream: Is what I’m feeling from this class right now…

You know what? you should have put that krivis after cleric and not at the very end, zaibas is soooo usefull for grinding with cleric class. Lvl 31 Krivis at the moment and not even a single problem mobing.

also forgot to mension: i just killed the minotaur boss in nefritas cliff with 1 deprotected zone lvl 5, 2 zaibas lvl 5 and 2 heals lvl 5. So yeah, zaibas op

you probably did your stats wrong… some people dont start off as full support, they do the quests with either full str or str/dex and then reset at a high level

as i said, im full support too and again: krivis saves clerics early game

Oh lol I been killed Minotaur, the problem is people kill stealing Clerics like a flash.

Currently what I’m doing;

Pure STR til I get uh Chaplin, then switch over to SPR/INT

you r runnign a full support buid, of course your damage will suck, it will be harder to solo bcuz u do no damage and ur supposed to be in a party. so thats why im being a sadhu

u shoulsv aso put krivis early, zaibas is a powerful damage skill

you can spam Zaibas, heal and cure in the spawn points and you will get the kill instantly

Same for all healers in every MMORPG. What make you think healer class is good for solo grinding?

I went full str cleric c2. I just swing my mace 2 times and 3 mobs die at the same time.
