Is Chaplain still a solid, viable Rank 5 after Priest 3? Or is there any other alternative?

i’m building as high spr support

cleric > priest3 > chaplain > krivis > cleric2

i’m doing pure pve so i don’t need plague doctor in this build

get chaplain asap, very huge power spike at rank5

extra 2 proc of blessing and property damage isn’t a joke

don’t build int

spr provide more benefit than int

stronger blessing, stone skin, monstrance, deprotected zone, zalciai

mixing int/spr is bad idea it lower your potential sum stat will lower

choose high spr with some con or high int with some con, don’t mix it

high int with some con is fine it’s not good as spr build but provide magic damage for rank6-7 skill

i just use dispeller as i use it on any char that i’m playing

i’m going for inquisitor at rank8 look like it has most synergy with chaplain

i’m also lazy to waste time on pd quest with high spr char

You know about inquisitor right? Seems like The best go for Monk builds and paladino builds, i woul drop that chaplain on second build

But if you’re going spirit monk why would you not get krivis c1 for zalcaia?

Well if you are going a SPR based build, as well as physical damage dealing class, Krivis buff Zalciai can let you forgo getting Dex (evasion not included).

As when enemies (non-flying) are debuffed they will lose crit resistance. Unlike defense debuffs that stop at 0, crit resist debuffs go into the negatives. What this essentially means is that you effectively give yourself crit chance agaisnt those enemies, as well as increasing crit chance for others.

Now not only will you be getting crit chance (see above sentences), but by stepping on the circle Zalciai makes will also grant you or allies a crit attack buff.

My suggestion to you is to tryout a new cleric character that goes krivis at rank 2 with Spr to see how you like it. Since getting to rank 2 or 3 is not that time consuming and rather easy, you should test krivis out.
Often than not you may find yourself looking at something and think that it looks boring or fun, then when you actually try it your opinion may change.

If you do attempt to go Krivis for Zalciai put at minimum 3 points into Zalciai. This is so you can unlock the the attribute for more crit att.

(Sorry for bad grammar and stuff just woke up, to lazy to make my text look appealing)

Edit: I can vouch that with Spr the crit debuff/crit att is still very usable at high levels, especially when combined with crit gems.

Edit 2: Here is what I would do if I had Krivis on a Spr build: -> http://www.tosbase.com/tools/skill-simulator/build/aljzouitsr/ <- As Zaibas is a good leveling skill, this is especially so when paired with priest blessing. (them multi hit skills)

If you ask me why I did go for Chaplain after Priest 3 I’d tell you it was because I didn’t put any points in damage skills. I’d like to have a good support.

Also, as Chaplain I am able to solo whenever I want. Aspergillum is a skill that provides a lot of AA damage and not only this reason Chaplain is a good to go. It’s all about preference IMO.

skill synergy

What synergy? Has it been determined that their skills are physical?

The only data we have to go on is the preview videos and none of the moves are showing yellow numbers.

my build is cleric1 priest3 chaplain krivis cleric2

all of these are spr base class

krivis zalciai very strong with high spr

daino solve priest-chaplain buff slot

akuras is bonus

cleric2 divine might boost all your buff and party skill level

safety zone 4 times better, 110% better heal

and fade…

It’s preference, you can’t say it’s a waste because Daino scroll doesn’t work at GvG/PvP.
