Is Brazil going to have a separate server from South America (SA) server?

Hey guys, I’m from Chile and with my friends we are all thinking of switching to SA server but we couldn’t understand from the announcements if the BR community is going to switch to the upcoming SA server or if they’ll have a separate server.

Can someone clarify this to us please? BR is a huge community and I think mixing spanish with portuguese talkers would be a mistake from IMC.

Thank you for your time,

SA server stands for South America. Which has BR and every other country in the region. Very likely most of us BRs will transfer to SA Server.

There will be a future BR Server managed by LUG/IMC (no announced date so far), but it won’t be on Steam, you won’t be able to transfer to it from any other iTOS server and it will be on portuguese only (chat/support/billing). Until that happens, most BRs will probably be on SA Server, and even then this will mostly be useful for new players, as existing ones with hundreds game play hours won’t start again from scratch on a new server if no transfer is available.

The reason for a SA Server is not about language, its mostly because of regional pricing and ping.

Are you sure there will be a LUG server? It sounds weird that there will be no transfer from iTos/Steam servers if so. Why would any BR player make a steam account if they can’t play in their regionalized server? (with the pricing/ping benefits)

Well, if this is true, the SA server should become mostly spanish speaking server and the portugese/spanish comumities won’t be mixed then

Good info, but still not clear enough.

I think we still don’t have the required info to make a decision here and IMC should clarify how is this going to work. Obviously a BR player won’t move to the LUG server if they have to start from scratch and I’m pretty sure that BR player base is bigger than Latin America’s one so probably SA server will end up being the BR server, at least at the beginning of it.

Personally I’d prefer to stay in an English talking server, mostly because I can’t understand portuguese, but we have limited time to make this decision and not enough information.

Hi, We go Have a Brazilian Exclusive server from ‘IMC + Level Up Games’.
We don’t have any data about when it go launch.
Most of Br’s don’t like this publisher so probaly most of Brazilian will stay at least on South America Server.

So basically all BRs are going to switch to this new SA server?

I think we Latin Americans are screwed then, because obviously BR player base is much bigger than the rest of S.A. spanish talking players.

Aura kingdom had the Latin server and BR server separated. The reason is pretty much obvious. South America includes politically and geographically Brazil, BUT Brazilians are too much different in every way from the rest of Latin America. Comparing BRs with the rest of Latin America is like Comparing Mexicans with Americans because “Mexico is in North America”. Just Wrong.

Not all… But many will switch.
There aren’t going to be rules on the use of language, as well as does not exist in the English server (although many English players wanting to make in English …). And of course, who have difficulty with Portuguese or Spanish can use the English language even.

I think it’s good to meet people from different places and cultures. People around the world have more things in common than differences, it’s just the language that creates a “barrier” that makes it seem otherwise.
