Ipf error message

First of I know this is a repeat thread but I will post this anyway.

According to you IMC you just updated the client for hackers yada yada okay fine.

Then we experienced a problem after the patch okay fine you’re aware of the said problem, tried the cache something under steam issue still there.

I often use deepfreeze before opening one of my programs just to avoid corrupted files, just got home opened up my computer opened the game then updated the game tried to logged in got the error message.

So I was thinking maybe it was my internet that caused a file that I was downloading to be corrupted so restarted my PC since I’m in a deepfreeze tried updating again the same thing then I started researching saw a lot of post regarding this matter in the forums so I tried the suggested fix nothing worked.

So I saw the post from you guys IMC that we need to redownload the client okay fine I downloaded it again at my surprise guess what? the problem is still there again what?

If this doesn’t work for you, then there is no known alternative solution, but to redownload and reinstall the client for now.

We recommend not to modify any files in the client since that would change the client different from our expectations.

Now what IMC tried everything you’ve just said hopefully you guys comeup with a fix with this problem ASAP.

Mine worked after uninstalling and redownloading the game, then i closed the game since i had to go out, now when i came back to play im getting this error, didnt modified a thing its the same way it was when i downloaded. I think its the patcher that is modifying something it shouldnt, updating the game from 2 different sources will cause lots of problems, my suggestion is, eliminate the game patcher and use steam to do updates like other games, or dont update the steam repository and use only the patcher.

Edit: after trying opening the game a couple more times it worked again.

Edit 2: Never mind, i entered the lodge, then got kicked to server selection, and tried login again and the error popped up again.

Yeap I think they should ditch the patcher I don’t really know what’s purpose I’m not a DEV or anything but they should ditch the patcher and let the steam do the updating.

Only time I can play is after work or during my day offs Im still a lvl 60 peltasta and would like to reach atleast lvl 65 ot 70 before sleeping seems like its impossible now with this problem.

I’m just glad I didn’t took the vacation leave offered to me earlier while this problem is still occuring.
