My point here is a mostly single player game that’s been out for almost a year has nearly triple the players that this game does.

That’s my point.

And if we want to compare MMO perspectives, that’s also a losing argument if you’d like a jab at it too my friend.

I reckon that you’ve some ability to use insight and deduction instead of getting your panties wrapped up in a bunch.

A single player game that:
-Is a fully complete(dlc not included) game, hardly any bugs nor optimization issues.
-Chart listed paid customer sales going online via Steam(not counting the pirates)

DarkSouls is a quality game, ToS isn’t.
Those numbers in the chart paid for quality and devs delivered quality.

F2P can also come in quality.
oldie? Even an Ro private server has more players than iToS.
card collecting mobage type? KanColle a browser game has more players than iToS.
PvP? LoL/DoTA/Smite/CS/SmashBros has 0 P2W, and all cash items are practically cosmetic only.
casual? FarmVille probly got more players than iToS.

Over all quality is something IMC failed to deliver, what hold the current players down to ToS is either ro nostalgia or they’ve already sunk too deep(death of the game or a new chew toy MMO is their only freedom).

Heck I’d rather farm a Rath Ruby in MH than deal with ToS’s shitty DPK.

Editing this out because I do agree with the concept being absolutely quality but the implementation is horribly lacking.

Ro in its first year had it’s server structure leaked.
FFXIV had to close down temporarily.

Gravity pushed through with brute force with introductions of new content each month for a rough 2 years.(the left up bugs by Hakkyu Kim’s team was slowly dealt with e/rAthenaGithub nerds, with Gravity compiling those up)
SE did it right, but they’ve got a franchise name to uphold, and they have the money and a proper team that handled the issues.


tldr; IMC is severely lacking human resources with a working brain.

ToS you mean JTOS? Pretty sure JTOS is still TOS. If ToS isnt a quality game then explain why Japan were more successful than its iTOS counterpart or rather more successful than dark soul 3 as a whole.

Dark Souls 3 is infinitely more successful than Tree of Savior in general and that alone is a fact.

You haven’t showed me any proof. You’ve merely stated that it’s more successful and that your words are to be taken for fact without, once again, any proof.

With that said, the entirety of this post is aimed at itos online for a mostly single player game vs an MMO with several dead servers.

JTOS is still relevant because we cant compare ITOS to another shiit, it will only go down hill much faster. I only commented because your thread reeks off Dark Souls fanboyism as if that shiit is more superior to TOS as a whole which clearly is not the case.

Dark souls 3 only have 1 server however TOS servers are regional. TOS playerbase were divided worldwide via their respective regional servers.

You bring up the population chart to indicate the superiority of Dark Soul population to TOS so i think its fair bringing up also the whole population of TOS against Dark Souls. That fact justify that TOS is more successful than Dark Soul shiit. More players playing your game means it is more successful than the other.

Now that I read your comment I wonder, is IToS a MMO? Definitely nowadays I wouldn’t call it Massively Multilayer lol.

It’s a 5 man online game because anything more than 5 the game starts lagging real bad

The game is slowly dying, not even a year with 2.5k average players on 6 servers which includes bots, that is a pretty bad sign, I wonder how they could get people back to playing again? I’m really sad with how tos has become.

imo what happened was people were coming back but they experienced a lot of bugs and then imc banned the people who abused the bug and that’s all she wrote.

p.s. tos IS a quality game, it just happens to be buggy AF
