Hmm, I haven’t played all classes in the Archer tree, for critical, all classes get benefit except for Wugushi, since elemental damage don’t have critical effects.
Schwarzer Reiter uses mount (will require a pet which you get from the class change and the pets use up a lodge slot), same for Hackapell.
If you want massive AoE attacks: Ranger, Fletcher and Mergen are the main ones, there is Sapper and Cannoneer, being Sapper that utilize materials (sold by the master I think) to construct the traps.
Quarrel Shooter is sorta of a defensive/CC type class, main skills are Caltrops and Running Shot are the main skills, followed by Deploy Pavise.
Wugushi is a good AoE too, but as QS, make better use of STR stats, Bewitch and Zhendu skills are the useless ones (for now I do hope), Detox remove any poison DoT, Wugongu is one of the main skills, you poison 1 enemy and each time you hit that enemy the poison spread to another enemy close by the first, use it in combo with Throw Gu Pot and it will spread real fast.
The above are classes that I use, I also have Cannoneer, but in all honesty, with QS and Wugu, it’s not really a good pair imo. But still a fun char I got.
You can find some interesting builds and explanations on tosbase.com.
I won’t dwell into Swordsman class, since I only have 1 and it’s a Tank build, I haven’t completed it yet so I can’t provide much.
Other classes to try out are:
Cleric 1 > Priest 3 > Pard 2/3 (if Pard 2, take Oracle 1 for the fun of changing mobs and trying to find good loot) > Inquisitor - Note that this build is 100 CON, 50 DEX, and the rest in SPR, you also will be dependent on Five Hammer mace for AoE att ratio since will be a basic attack build, on the good side, it will have a good mdef due to high SPR + some buffs and gear.
Most people go with Cleric 2 > Priest 3 > Pard 2 > Inquisitor (when following other path on the same build).
In all honesty, the only real thing you can mess up on Cleric class are the Stats, so as long as you be careful in that part, any class in the Cleric tree will be useful, depending on how you use it.
