Integrated graphics?

Will intel 4000 integrated graphics run TOS smoothly?

Nope if you have hd 4600 maybe.

I played the first CBT with a Intel HD graphics 3000, it was fine.

I don’t see why it wouldn’t run, but don’t expect it to be butter smooth till you actually run the game. If it comes down to it and you can’t run the game, you could always buy a new video card (external for laptop, internal for desktop) not that hard to setup. You only need to know if your system can handle the card. You don’t want to set your house on fire because you tried putting a GTX 660 (which is well above what you need) inside a computer with a weak power supply.

This should give you some idea assuming a 4000 is better than a 3000 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yjycZ0pScxk

Here’s BF3 running on an Intel HD 4000 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ua2gajdpsTo

Bear in mind, the specs of the machines running these benchmarks can vary. An Intel HD 4000 alone isn’t enough. You need to make sure your other parts, specifically CPU and RAM, meet the requirements. Best way to tell is by looking at the documentation that came with your system, going to system properties, running dxdiag or downloading CPU-Z which will basically tell you everything that’s inside it.

Once you know what’s in your system, look up the minimally required parts for the game on cpubenchmark.net and compare that to what you have in your machine via the same site.

Edit: Went ahead and did it for you. It beats the minimum (8600 GTS), but not the recommended (GTS 450). There are multiple 8600 models so I went with the best one for comparison.

Intel HD 4000 (What you have) http://www.videocardbenchmark.net/gpu.php?gpu=Intel+HD+4000&id=2
8600 GTS (Minimum) http://www.videocardbenchmark.net/gpu.php?gpu=GeForce+8600+GTS&id=118
GTS 450 (Recommended) http://www.videocardbenchmark.net/gpu.php?gpu=GeForce+GTS+450&id=1

It will run but it won’t be smooth unless you turn down the settings a bit given your other specs are good enough.

It was nothing. It’s kinda second nature since I do it a lot for people who think they aren’t tech literate when they actually are. Have a :cookie:

I join first Beta Test by use this specs with turn off all the TOS special effect and it run like 10~30 fps went i solo that still can play, but it will lag if too many player or enemy especially in town.
( mostly drop to 5 fps if in town .___.)

My suggestion will be try play TOS beta 2nd Beta with your specs because some high specs player also complain they will lag with a mass of object.
( look like need some optimize and you don’t lose anything because it just a beta test .___.)

Well for me for you to enjoy the game smoothly you would need to get at least stable 30fps + and up.

If you will be turning down all the game graphics and the resolution that would be a bummer you wouldn’t enjoy the game that’s my personal opinion.

but with a low budget gaming rig will do the trick.
