Hey just started an Int Sadhu and to PD2 later on character to try out and I was wondering what items should I be going for as well as budget options if you know some good ones while I farm the end game stuff. High appreciated, thanks!
there is a psychokinesis dagger on one of the early HG but I forgot which one…
Oh would that give me more damage as oppose to something like arde dagger?
Small Crystaras. It drops from Natarh Watchtower (170 HG).
Unfortunately, they changed the way HG drops work. Rather than being a percentage drop from certain monsters, now you get a cube depending on your DPK (Drops Per Kill). In this case, you need 1200 DPK to get a weapon cube. Then, like all cubes, what comes out of it is up to RNG.
Why they decided to turn HG loot into a time sink gatchapon game is beyond me but it sucks. Save yourself the headache and look for the dagger at a reasonable price from the market.

Yeah, Small Crystalas costs only around 600k (1 slot) - 1,2m (2 slots) on the market.
That’s 3-4 runs level 290 dungeon, so it’s ± affordable.
budgetwise I’d suppose that the current high-leveled HG sets now won’t really be an option anymore, so the safest bet is to go with Catacombs Club Recipe (you have to craft it yourself but it costs only around 300-600k and once you have it upgraded to +6-+10 and gemmed with 5*-6* gems, it will serve your character well till you have your Practonium weapon) and other gears you can get from quests/normal monsters.
You e.g. get a free Necklace of Deceit[+10 INT] from the quests between Starving Demons Way and Apsimesti Crossroads, can farm 2 Wizard Bracelets from Shard Statues in Spring Light Woods, get a free Rokas Robe [+10 INT] at the Gateway of the Great Kings subquestline.
Other than this, you can get the level 75 HG gears Marone Gloves (+11 INT) and Razna Leather pants (+10 INT) as they are dirt cheap on the market usually and have decent defensive stats if you put in 1-2 4* Yellow gems.
Aside of that, the top gear that’s still affordable [be prepared to pay 500k-1m for the version with 1 slot] is the level 170 War Mage Cloth set from the Hunting Grounds, which provides 10 INT per part[except for the gloves; feel free to keep your Marone or upgrade to Alpra Gloves for more defence if required]. That gear lasts well enough till you’ve got your 270/315 HG set.

use it till u roll practo for or have enough $$$ to craft purple/orange mace
any cheap mace +6 is good enough to carry u till 315
just use 40 75 120 170 220 (u could skip 270 if it too expensive)
