INT or STR support type

I’m going for C2>DIEV3>ORACLEC2.

As you can see, it’s going to be a long and tedious attacking path, so I’m torn between INT and STR (or both ?). The only skills that benefit from my int are Heal, Cure and Owl Totem. If I go STR, then my AA would become way more reliable AND I have Carve Attack which does some serious dmg.

Thoughts ? Suggestions ?

INT

Str is not for this build.

INT and CON. Since your build seems to more of a support than anything else, you don’t need to grab as much INT as dps clerics would, but for damage and healing, INT is what you want. You can get a decent amount of physical damage for carve just from your weapon.

INT, CON, SPR.

STR won’t be good for this build. It might make leveling a bit easier, but will be completely useless late game.

Go INT for the skills. Then add enough CON and SPR for survivability and SP respectively.

Being oracle c2 i would be surprised is sp is a concern for him.

Good point. Because of the arcane energy right?

Then maybe for the added magic defense it might help?

But either way definitely focus on INT than STR.

Kinda depends if hes a more pve or pvp orientated player.

But yea int and con at very least

I already plan on dumping around 100 points in CON. I was wondering what to do with the rest of it, since INT seems to be the general consensus, I’ll be going for that.

I am a healing priest, I have 78 INT and totaly disapointed with it. My friend who has 0 INT on his support priest heal only less than 100 HP from me… What’s the point to put in INT if it just +1 HP per statut points ?

Stats snowball, the more points you put into it the more you get in total.

str/int even get a +10% total bonus per additional class rank. And int is sole stat that increases all magic dmg. (carve owl, cure, heal etc for the above build.)

Typically you’d build stat selection for several benefits tbh.

And for newbies in general:
Do not judge stats solely by their current level performance, there’s a lot of scaling and thresholds involved that make the performance rather erratic and untrustworthy.

Int is mainly grabbed to increase magic damage while mildly bolstering heals.

Int is applied to heal twice. It only heals 150 more, but much more importantly you deal 150 more damage per tile.

Yeah but in dungeon and stuff you don’t really want the enemy to step in your tiles …

You can turn off your heal damage in dungeons, but it’s useful to have some damage when questing and whatnot.

cure and heal are going to give you some nice early damage. They are solid skills for solo work. You will probably end up taking the damage off of heal for dungeons etc… but that still leaves you with cure which is nice. Owl can put out some crazy dps as well. You are focusing on support, so INT is the clear choice here. It compliments your support skills much more than STR will.
