Pelta also needs a nerf. Doesn’t mean that overall SW didn’t need a buff.

Tbh pelta wont get nerfed. Its just good and well balanced.
I want to nerf elememes, pelta, linker, buff thauma, buff necromancer, nerf chrono and buff SW in general. Not just nerf pelta.
Adjusting them to give every class a chance is just the right thing to do.
The only reason pelta is dominant is cuz swordsman was worse off. With swordsman buffed i can see it being valued in parties.
And LOL at PvE, PvP is what matters in the end. And in that its not op.
nerfing pelt is not the way to go, they should give OTHER classes and circle the option to have taunt, maybe give taunt to scout fluflu, or make certain wizard abilities have the option to “lure” monsters. Its just stupid to me that only swordman and only ONE circle have the option to use taunt.
In RO taunt wasnt needed, you only need a mobber since spawn rate and denity was decent and the leash range was insane, in TOS mob rate and density is terrible and the leash range is non existent, so you NEED a taunt in order to grind at a decent rate in a group.
Lol i am pelta and there are many situations where taunt isnt needed. Especially in dungeons the mobs aggro on proximity.
Even now taunt is optional. Classses like cryo and linker can cover for pelta.

If anything they should buff the def to % based or anything vs magic damage for 3th circle.
Yes they are nice to have in a team but past level 250 you do less then 1k damage with your best skills

Yes, from the swordsman tree. Like skills that increase aggro cap, aggro range, etc. without being exact copypastas of pelt’s abilities. Make skills similar yet inferior to Swash Buckling that can be distributed to other swordsman classes. It would probably be even easier for them to add attributes to existing skills like Warcry instead of adding new skills.
Then they can nerf pelt pve-wise and buff it for pvp or, you know, whatever. I don’t really care for that.

The idea is not for every swordsman to tank. If you want to tank tho, i dont see why you dont grab pelt.
Another idea is to let pelt remain the most efficient, while giving other swordsman classes the ability to fill that role to a lesser extent. Tanking isn’t a role unique to swordsman in this game; taunting is.
Doesnt really make that much sense to be honest but i think warcry and the pirate flag taunt to a limited extent.
yeah because ET mobs instantly aggro everything, you dont need pelt for ET, this is how worked in RO, as i also explained.
So pelt is even useless in endgame. Clearly it needs a buff.

I want to nerf heal because its too OP in a party. Literally everyone want it. This is not acceptable. A skill shouldn’t be too good that everyone can’t survive without that.
Cleric 2 is too OP right now. Literally you won’t get into a grinding party without cleric 2. Please nerf cleric 2 to ground such that cleric 1 is viable.
Thats funny, heal did get nerfed, the duration on gound was reduced to 10 secs from 40 secs!
