I have a doubt and I can’t seem to find the answer anywhere. Can someone tell me, when the final boss is defeated in the instance dungeon, what’s the meaning of the number above each character. It is about which char got more experience or am I wrong?
Its a DPS ranking, it only shows who placed in what position based on the amount of damage each person in the group did.
It is the dmg ranking. Deal more dmg to the boss to get a better number.

Note that the numbers also appear at worldbosses and some kind of bosslike field monsters, such as Cafrisun or Big Red Kepa.

also, people forget that DPS stand for Damage Per Second…
Speed is also a factor, just doing big # isn’t enough 
Thanks everyone for the answers, so it’s not the damage made through all the dungeon, only for the boss. so if someone evade all the mobs and only fight the boss it will still place first then.
yes, it is for each boss independently…

Ive wacked a boss a few times and have gotten 1 for dps so the system doesnt work right.
