Hello everyone what are your thoughts about korean voices being dubbed are you with it or against it☺️
Im against it since it will not feel original thats my opinion what are yours.

Personally I think we should definitely have localized voices with the option to change between Korean/Japanese for those that want it. There’s no reason to not have localized voices, as it will just appeal to more people. Not everyone likes Korean/Japanese voices in a game where all the text is English (or many of the other translation packs that will be available in the future).
I noticed in the poll that 65% of the people want korean voices not dubbed which makes me think which approach will imc take
Yeah, there is a large portion of people that don’t want to change it, or believe that it’ll cost too much money/time to change it so they defaulted to just letting it stay Korean.
Honestly, there’s no reason not to appeal to 100% of the audience instead of just 65%. All they have to do is allow you to choose which voice pack you’d like to use, it was already an option people were using.
I don’t think, in the grand scheme of developing the game and publishing it, that voice acting for skills will cost much time/money.

But im abit suprised with the votes it was 5700 this morning and now somewhere near 11000 
Really? Did it double in a few hours?
That is a little strange. Either the poll was promoted in a popular site, or people might be cheating the system.
Regardless, in the end it really doesn’t make too much of a difference, they should just allow a player to choose when launching the game.

Its true that it would be fair for everyone to be able to choose both languages either japanese/korean or english dubbed however the real question is to spend money on voice overs* or spend it on better content and game features
My problem is that I would want different voice types that we can choose from when we create our character instead of different languages… I mean yeah we could even have both but maybe that would cost too much…and if we should choose then I don’t care about the language I wouldn’t choose that over more costumization.
But thinking of that…it would be fun too if it would be the mix of the 2 and we would hear some ppl cast skills in korean while others in english…

True but the core of the game is based on the features,customization and content.That is what will make the game lively so in my point of view is that english dubbed should be added after the game is stable with a huge player base.
If you don’t think about the cost of dubbing, then yes I’d gladly take English over the Korean one, simply because I have no do not understand Korean, but for those that wish to change dubs, I think they should be allowed to. This would pretty much make everyone happy.
I as i noticed on anime and even on other games, english dubbed voices sound so emotionless that seriously make me think if these people are really willing to work on that area, i’m not saying all of them are like that but most are.

Yeah, I get what you mean, I do almost never look forward to dubs on most anime, and just end up watching the raw or with subs… But there are a couple animes with remarkably good dubs in german, english and so on, it’s not all bad if they’re all passionate about it.

Yeah, as i said, not all of them sound like they are just sitting there reading the script, some are really good, on my language i don’t have complains except when they do wrong calls, sometimes a character get dubbed by someone with an incompatible voice which cause a mess. In english too, i think that is the main issue.
IMC should have something similar to PSO2 and have a list of multiple voices/personality and premium ones if they wish to cash in.
I’m okay with dubs so long as they’re not the of the janky variety, it’s not hard to get some proper English speakers that could do a half decent job for free.
I find it cute … that english dialect is so cute.
I’m speaking about the japanese version xD.
Most skills are shouted in “english” or atleast that is what they wanted to do.
I installed the japanese voice pack till it broke my game xD.
Why bother getting an true english voice pack.
People will want it in different langauges then too.
THE best would actually to leave fans to make voic epacks.
But any open stuff like that … screams exploits.
Well IMC could change the way the voice files where packed and do like the BGM files in a separated folder, so we could create our own voices, as long as we put the files the same name as the originals, Torchlight 2 allow us to mod a load of the game including music and voices, i’m not saying to be the same here but at least the voices would be nice.
