I am deciding whether to go barb c3 or corsair and my R6 will be fencer
does Jolly roger boost any atk dmg or speed? or does it only grant you more % to drop items and silver.
I’m a Barb 2 > Corsair > Fencer
It’s supposed to boost attack damage per combo but it’s very buggy atm.
Item drops:
it CAN steal rares, including rare recipes like venier, so maxing it is really good even without the attack bonus.

@Lostac would u happen to know what is the key trigger in continueing the combo like what do we have to do to keep it going and increase the combo count
By all means, don’t max it. Buggy as hell. Lvl 2 is enough.
(corsair 267, tried both lvl 2 and lvl 15)
There is a max combo count, when you reach that it lasts longer but you can no longer refresh it.
@sttr413 you’ll be losing a lot on JR chance, I’ve partied with a corsair c3 and the silver steal chance was massive. It might be bugged for you but not for everyone(talking about the stealing) mine also returned to normal recently.
I’ve grinded demon prison while it wasn’t bugged, using both lvl 2 and lvl 15 flags. I was initially lvl 2, then switched to lvl 15, then returned back to lvl 2 after the bug. And I grinded every morning, for several weeks.
VISUALLY it gives a lot of silver. But on practice? The difference is almost nonexistent.
Only way to use flag effectively is to grind some material item with fairly OK droprate (like Honeymeli Stinger) and then sell it for silver. Do you really want to dump 13 skill points into it?
I’ve stolen Venier Recipe, and more high level recipes with it at LEVEL 5. What more if I had higher levels on it? Silver is just a bonus, items is what I want.

I had thought JR was for getting more sliver.

Yes, you can steal battle bracelets, rare recipes, etc. Silver is only a small amount. somewhere around 50+ silver for level 200+ mobs
So, when you said you stolen Venier recipe, was that from any old random mob? Or must it be from a mob that drops it in the first place (Yellow Candle Spider iirc)
