I wonder if there are any changes coming to this mechanic?
Especially since the level range for queues has been increased it’s not so uncommon to land in a party thats 20 levels above you.
You are just rendered completely useless for the entire run unless you are a healer, then at least you can provide some support.
It doesn’t even matter if you have 20k hp or more since you’ll most likely get one shot by knockdown shenanigans anyways.
Receiving 5~6 times the damage you would normally get and dealing maybe 15~25% of your original damage to the mobs is a poor way to design difficulty.
Also, please don’t tell me to “just play more carefully” if every so often when you use a skill your character decides to just stand still, frozen in an animation doing nothing for 3-4 seconds leaving you unable to perform any action.
Truly frustrating mechanic which I hope will get reworked someday, imo an EXP penalty would already be sufficient enough.
