Hi, Im old player and I always choose my games based of PvP. I see that this game could offer really good swordman vs swordman dueling (hope for other mirror matches too). So I would really like to see improved dueling system in game, that would encourage more people to make characters for 1v1 PvP.
The thing I suggest to be added.
1.To be able to choose which consumables are used, hp pot, sp pot, and others.
2. Immunity to effects outside duelists. Also not being able to get killed by mobs.*
3. Some kind of betting/reward system, I know this could be abused but hey, player content is more important than RMT. Game for gamers.
4. You need to be able to resume game with the current hp u had when u start duel. No1 whos not particulary intrested wants to sit by fire after every fight, so they just dont duel.
5. When the duel starts, creates “walls” for duel arena. This must be square, it looks worse than circle, but circle would allow for trying to run till ur opponent gets tired and forfits.
I think with these things fixed (for starters) it would encourage many more people to duel/build duelists. There are many games that have/had huge player base only focused for 1v1 PvP. For example diablo 2 and runescape, which both were amazing games for 1v1 PvP during their glory years.
I would also like to hear about the state of developement for this matter

- My wife actually got dueled in area where you lose gems if u die, she tought it was party invite and just accepted and got killed by mob dropping all her gems.
