Implement a cooldown time for Macros

A few users are spamming their macros in the Klaipeda map in channel 1. Since there is no cooldown on this, you can spam sentences repeatedly. This causes a lot of annoyance and perhaps lag for certain players.

You realize there’s a block function, right?

If for some reason that isn’t working, then we might have a problem.

Seems like the BR’s actually are pretty mad.

So basicly you are saying it’s ok to spam cause there is a mute function in the game?
You do know that leads to the same situation is in many current f2p mmo -> your ignore list will be over 100 people in the first week, cause so many people “freely” spam and there are limitless amounts of gold sellers spamming as well.

Muting a player for spam is not a solution.

First of all, to my knowledge Macros can only deliver text to the Local channel, so I severely doubt it’ll be used for anything other than ironic spam in town, dancing, and some actual, legitimate use with parties.

It takes less than a handful of seconds at most to type “/block ___” or use the F7 menu, and if having hundreds of people on your block menu is some great revelation to you, especially in a F2P game, then I’m afraid I’ve got some news for you…

I think you kinda missed the point.
Muting idiots its not a solution to the problem. There shouldn’t even be a problem with spamming in the first place. And that there is the job of automatic systems and GMs.

The way things are handled in most mmo right now is just wrong. Letting everyone do as they please is simply chaos. And really, the moment you mute the first 100 players, you already have 200 more names you should mute. This is just a never ending â– â– â– â–  storm that needs to be taken care of by the GMs and certain automatic anti-spam systems.

Yea that seems like a good idea, to prevent town spamming, and prevent REALLY annoying players on the field from spamming.

No there is not and the GM actually had to come out and threaten to ban these people I was there.
