A paladin with enough CON/Healing stat/heal skills can keep the whole party alive non-stop.Or am i missing something ?
Item durability prevents you from tanking dmg forever, but you can try it with Ausrine and/or Sterea Trofh to help you with durability decay.
Yes, they can, but some bosses can cancel out AoE ground skills -cough cough velcoffer cough cough-
This is my current build, very high DPS along with high heals/support/devotion:

Both Demolition and Sanctuary, because Smite just outright sucks and there’s nothing better to get as a Paladin. You can switch between both 2h mace and 1h mace + shield, depending if you just want to run a quick dg or do something more intense.
-
Transform from druid gives you +75% extra HP for Large size monsters. I also really like to transform into Large-Insects so you get an extra +40% physical/magical defense as well! This extra defenses also combos nicely with Sanctuary.
-
Druid 2 + Exorcist 2 gives you enough high skill factor skills (Rubric, Aqua Benedicta, Chortasmata, Carnivory & Thorn Vine) with low enough cooldowns to keep a steady rotation of quite high DPS. Just Rubric itself can already out-dps many swordman builds out there (sorry, Doppels).
-
Engkrateia provides 50% damage reduction against all damage, along with immunity to knockdown/knockback for 6 seconds. Not a big deal by itself, but surely useful when all the damage of the party is being redirected to you.
-
Sterea Trofh provides immunity, helping not break your equipments as quick. High lvl safety wall provides a few seconds of invulnerability (since again, you’re taking dozens of hits per second). High CON/block rate also helps against breaking your equipment as fast. If your equipment still breaks fast enough, get an enchanter to enchant it, and over-repair it with lvl 15 squire repair shops.
-
I highly suggest using Biteregina + Velnia Monkey cards, since most of your skills deal many hits in AoE, it’s pretty easy to apply poison and get your enemies taking 30% more damage.
-
I also highly suggest getting 750+ block rate, as any lower than that using Barrier: devotion will be painful for you (regardless of your hp) and result in your equipment breaking pretty quick!
Other variants:
-
Kill Exorcist 2 in exchange for Kabba 2. You get an absurd max HP increase when stacking both Transform + Ein Sof. They multiply eachother resulting in a 250% increase of max hp, instead of only 175%. This helps you easily achieve really high hp amounts such as 400k+. You also get Merkabah, which helps with the invulnerability in your somewhat static gameplay during Barrier devotion, and Nachash, which is a decent dps skill. However, you do lose a lot of DPS by not having Rubric anymore.
-
Kill a Cleric circle in exchange for Priest 1. You get much lesser heals, but now you can ressurect.
-
Kill a Cleric circle in exchange for Diev 1. You get much lesser heals, but more dps by lowering all your cooldowns. Also, Laima is super important to keep Resist Elements with nearly 100% uptime.
Do you mind sharing more about your build, mostly your status distribution?
I’m not a big fan of exorcist with paladin, but maybe swaping exorcist for Kabba 2 may be more in line with what I’d want.
Just a regular CON build. I got 100 SPR (for better healing) and rest into CON.
With a trans 5+ weapon, STR/INT stats become pretty meaningless…
Kabba 2 is a nice pick too, but much more support and less dps.
Some people prefer Kabba 3 for the block magic attribute, but I think it’s not worth it, you lose a lot of max hp (because of Transform + Ein Sof) and dps too. Magic block is also only half your normal block, so you need TONS of block to have a decent block chance (1500 for 90% block against physical & magical in PvE). Let’s also not forget you lose Sterea Trofh, which is an invulnerability with relatively low cd.
