As many of you know, a lot of us are from outside a server location but we play with friends on it. Most of us actually have a decent ping, also. We chose to play on them because this is freaking XXI Century, and globalization exists even if IMC doesn’t believe it.

We asked. Many of us wanted to be able to buy DLC packs for our current servers, where most of us have friends, Guilds and advanced characters. So, we sent tickets, we asked around, we tried to be treated fairly.

The answer we got?

“We would to inform you that the Beginner’s and Veteran’s Package were both region locked. Unfortunately, we regret to inform you that there is no possible way to purchase packages from other regions since they are region restricted.”

So, not only the DLC prices are a shame to a MMO in comparison with what they offer, but they one more time don’t care about players.

I am easy to please, IMC. I don’t usually go making posts like this one. But don’t hide yourself behind Steam or other problems. As a professional of the Management & Business area, you are the kind of failure we use to laugh about, currently.

But all the servers belong to IMC. Is IMC Donald Trump? I HAVE to play in another server or I won’t be able to do anything cash-related? The servers are there, all together in the menu. Something easy to access would be basic, would be easy. Even I have worked with companies on good ways of payment like that.

Now I’ll just have to play without cash or abandon a handful of 230+ characters and re-start. Suddenly, it’s my fault that they said absolutely nothing about it before.

I really sorry for their game ToS is fun to play. But IMC don’t care player like us at all. It such a shame.
anyway, if the problem won’t fix before steam summer sales me and alot of players will go to play another game and won’t comeback. but I think they will still don’t care us.

As far as I know location restrictions are made, because server capacity is limited. You should be happy it is not ip blocked like many other games and you can play at all to be honest. You are the unexpected addition that adds to the lag. There is a reason there are multiple servers for certain regions you know.

Its quite a shame yes…

We have sea friends playing with us on the EU (Fedimian) Server.

Even IF they wanted to buy the TP/Packs, they cant. Because it is region locked. They can just buy the SEA pack. But that is NOT usable on EU Server.
And we CANT gift them EU Packs, because they live in Sea (malaysia to be correct) and they cant use EU packs with their Malaysian Steam ID…

And thats what’s the Problem with a lot of people who play with friends on the same Server, which is not “their correct region” server…

Really f*cked ._.
So they will never have/get TP to buy costumes.
At least they can buy the token in the market.
But really, come on…

So you mean after the multiple warnings on the forum, reddit, facebook etc telling you they were region locked and the multiple warnings in Steam also you still expect more. Get over yourself and relax.

These are just packs, the direct TP purchases will be done IN GAME through the new TP menu similar to how Marvel Heroes sells is currency on steam. You will be able to pay and get TP at that point and pay in the currency of the server you are on.

This is exactly how it is if you were to play kTOS you would have to pay in Korean currency and you wouldn’t be able to access the regional packs.

I’ve seen worst companies having better focus on that. I am not the “addition that adds to the lag”. My ping is 0.050~ mostly. The additions are the constant bots that they ban a lot but are still there.

I don’t “SHOULD” be happy. They don’t communicate, they don’t say ■■■■ to players, just let them in the dark until they manage a new way to ■■■■ them up. MANY players with low ping play NA servers with friends, from another regions.

We are getting ZERO support simply because IMC sucks.

ZERO responces from IMC. Don’t they even care?

How can we be sure the tp purchses won’t be region locked too? They may just add TP bundles for each region that will be sent to that shiny TP button on each corresponding server and we won’t be able to buy ■■■■ again.

How is this fair? They did not say anything about region LOCKED TP, they only said that prices for each server would be adjusted according to their region. They did not say that we won’t see other regional packs in our steam accs.

So what if I live in Europe? I don’t even have a team on Fedimian, why the hell can I only see the EU packs???

Yeah. Their communication with us was null, and the way they treat us is a shame. I think I’ll be forced to stop playing, after all. And I really wanted to play ToS… Such a nice game, in the hands of a terrible company.

It’s both fault. They could’ve made them general, or in a way that you could simply apply the regional DLC to your played server (The regional works that way only to equilibrate fees and such)

But eh, they locked servers too. IMC is the Donald Trump of MMO and the walls are up.

Hello all,
Just a suggestion: have you ever tried to change location in account setting and use vpn to change ip to the region that you are playing to buy packs? Idk if it works or not but if steam bases on ip and location setting so maybe you can bypass it like this :slight_smile:

It’s against Valve’s policy to use a VPN to bypass region locks, so you could get banned for it.

It’s still IMC’s fault for handling this so poorly. All they’d have to do is release an “international” pack that everyone can access, just it’s in USD so it’s more expensive than the SEA and SA packs. Then to prevent abuse, the cheaper SEA/SA packs can be locked so that they don’t work on Fed/Klai/Orsha. Nothing else has to be region locked, but they did it anyway.

Region lock on DLCs == Resorting to RMT. Hey there’s a lot of cheap silvers out there. However we can’t buy costumes through silver.

It was IMC that suggested their DLC on Steam be region locked…
