That aside, this isn’t entirely impossible; it’s just unlikely. Also, what’s the point of bringing it here to the forums asking if IMC will deny it? If they do even bother to respond to the thread, either way of course they’ll deny it.

Well when I worked as GM, the CM as well as all the higher ups claimed that stuff like this is not true (and that was internal information, I wouldn’t have been allowed to publish it anyway), but of course you can never tell when someone is lying, just like in this thread.

They don’t actually need ‘harvester bots’ and ‘business partners’ if they want to allow gold selling website under the table.

^ this, think about it, why all the hassle to bot if IMC could just sell bundled silvers to resellers?
its just wasted resources to IMC the way “your friend” told you (Amazon AWS charges you per bandwith and per ECU, memory and storage) it would be much cheaper to have less bots… performance-wise.

so its unlikely, and you were trolled :slight_smile:

This isnt new, but wether or not IMC does it is another matter.

Theres a lot of games that do this, in popular private servers of any game too.

Usually its ban farming/exp bots but let them advertise.

you guys have the brains of a monkey… if IMC wanted to “partner” with gold sellers they wouldn’t use bots… also why the hell would they partner when they could just have a few accounts and instantly spawn silver on them then sell cheaper and more securely than the other gold sites??? this makes no sense at all and you should feel trolled by some 10 year old

In TIBIA this happens a lot, some top guilds buy a lot of silver every month to win and fight GVG. but like some guys said they don’t need to BOT for hours, the silver just spawn in sellers account, it’s funny because the sellers also claim that they have unlimited resource, and I already see so much money in TIBIA that would take years of farming to be possible, due this and the absurd number of BOTs the game already died years ago, you guys cannot even imagine how big was the black market of TIBIA, they transaction much more money than official game/developer.

I don’t know for sure another case like this in another game, but is possible.

I don’t think IMC is doing this, maybe when they know that TOS will die anyway they can start doing such a thing.

For me IMC are just incompetent and can’t handle BOTs and goldsellers
