IMC, why many bots?

IMC will do what? Ban then all so they can come back tomorrow?

IMC is really in trouble because of this incompetent F2P release.

Look, when you make a fence right, someone is always going to find a way to break in. It’ll take them a while, and they’ll use more time and effort than might be necessary, but they’ll come up with a method.

Its the same with this. Bots aren’t just a Tree of Savior thing, EVERY f2p game, heck, even most p2p games have them, because there’s always someone willing to put in the extra effort to sell gold. What are you expecting IMC to do? Get better firewalls? IP Blocks?

They already do those regular account bans to curb the bots. Yes, they come back tomorrow, but that’s like saying weeding your garden doesn’t matter because they’re just gonna come back. I’d still do it because its doing something.

Not to mention all you need to do is switch channels and most of the time your problem is solved.

P.S Literally no quest requires Raflowers, what the heck are you doing there anyway? >:U

Because it’s a free-to-play game.

Bots can only be prevented in an effective manner if you limit access to accounts, be it via subscription model and/or by linking your account to real life information (like your social security number, korean Ragnarok Online used to do that). And since nowadays people want everything for free instead of paying for a subscription for their MMO we also have a heavy influx of bots, because when players are able to create as many accounts as they want for free so can goldfarmers/botters.

The only thing we, the players, can do is not buying silver from them.
But that won’t happen, because there will always be people who pay real money for ingame silver (with the usual “i have a life with a wife and a kid and a job, unlike you losers who sit ingame 20 hours a day, so i have no problem paying money for silver to make it easier for me to catch up to you losers.”-excuse). And as long as people are paying real money for silver there are always those who want to profit off that, that’s why we see so many bots.

That doesn’t mean you shouldn’t put a new fence once someone break in though, which is what you’re saying.
