KTOS 8 rank will start next week.
how long does it take to start 8rank in itos??
December 2017 right with the lag fixes and fps optimization
One day later the game shuts down and is bought by SEA gold bots
rank 8 start next week? source?
August 18th in kToS. My guess is that we receive the classes by october.
probably some time in novmeber- decenmer, you see how long it took to add in team battle
Hopefully a few weeks after they roll out some working fixes to the current bugs/exploits/other problems going on with the game currently instead of updating it again and accidentally creating even more issues. I’m excited about rank 8 and all the stuff that will come with it, but I’m not ready to have it come with the game in its current state.
How’s the game in Korea?
Dead like Orsha, or even worse.
Not sure, I play on the NA server.

That being said, seems like it’s still being actively played and they’re getting lots of content/regular updates (about every 2 weeks) and in general a lot more love than we are here… but that’s probably because Nexon’s a massive publisher and their version likely takes priority over us. I’m considering checking out the Japanese server when it launches later this month.
At the beginning people put their faith upon IMC for nothing then.
After months of release I try to imagine how a company releases a game in that state. :S
It’d better take much longer to get this game done than having all these issues put together and now it seems like IMC doesn’t have a path to choose because all of us wanna replies immediately about what’s happening.
I would like to see a roadmap for the next few months from IMC with their goals for our version. While they have done a lot to take user suggestions/fix things, it’s been very sporadic. This creates a lot of unease within the player base, and it’s reflected here on the forums profusely. Most companies do this with larger titles, just to give users something to look forward to and the reassurance that they are actively working on things.
FFXIV is a great example of keeping their users updated like this, but they’re a much larger company. However, there’s some comparisons to be made since this version has players from most areas of the globe–that means that there’s a lot of attention focused in iToS. We need better responses in general. There should be more positive press too. Ugh, just there needs to be more done to communicate with us regularly about the things that we players are actually concerned about.
The thing that makes me sad is everything they said they were concerned about happening–the reason why they wanted to have the 3 months tiered release back in march, has happened and then some.
I expected some bugs. But I also expect updates on them being handled, acknowledgement of the problem(s), interactions with the forum/in-game players, Q&A sessions that aren’t randomly pulled out of a hat out of every single post ever made from day one of the forums (seriously, who even asked last week’s questions, ever??), moderation of the forums so that we don’t see NSFW/quitting/drama/defaming/ect go on for hours/days at a time, and honestly a lot more.
This isn’t IMC’s first game. I’m a fan of the game itself (it’s a great game at it’s core and has tons of interesting/fun things… when they’re working) and the spirit that has gone into it. The art teams have made lush environments, the music is awesome (usually), and while I’m not a fan of the fan-translation… I still like the fact we didn’t have to wait 3 years for the game to come over from Korea… maybe this is why it normally takes years before we see the international version of Korean games.
I adore our staff members (especially John, Amy and Max). I appreciate that the creative mind behind the game has reached out to us on occasion… and I’m aware that there are some language issues–I don’t just mean Korean/English as we have users who speak a LOT of different languages.
I mean, seriously I sent in a ticket and received a response that came across to me as quite rude from the support… but I’m also pretty sure they aren’t a native English speaker as I teach English TO non-native speakers and the issue in the message was one I’ve seen with my students previously.
But this isn’t some tiny 3 person indie developer.
I’ve seen worse releases and general mishandling of games from other companies. But I expect better. I expect more. I really hope IMC steps up to the plate. I’m no whale but I regularly buy cash items, I play a LOT and plan to continue to do so. I don’t feel entitled to have the game changed on a whim just because I’m not satisfied but I DO expect to have a game worth contributing my time and money to. I love ToS, I think we all do, but I’m very disappointed with the state of the game, the management, and the forums/website at the moment.
What do you mean? We’re getting them on August 18ths, duh. Remember, we had the whole kToS merge and now we’re on the same patch schedule! /s
There is sadly 0% guarantee we’re getting anything on the 18th. We got a “soon.” Though, I do think we’ll get the updates mentioned in the news by the end of the month or the end of Sept… oh wait /s.

I see what you did there.
We are not even on par with the Ktos contents btw. Example, Boss Card system and Transcendence are not even patched here yet. I doubt we will get Rank8 within a month after KTos. Might even take 6months for them to bring it here who knows… its Imc lol
dat /s baited
Great words btw.
I won’t report what you just said lol.
In general I agree with you and I also hope they step forward to fix all of those issues this game has.
First step IMO would be FPS optimization and bug fixes. It’s been such a long time since I haven’t played a game with less than 60 fps.
My first impression was like “What’s that? I need to buy a new computer” and then it has nothing to do with computer stuff. :c
Fingers crossed.
There’s no guarantee, but since the repositories are merged now, it’s very very very likely that we’ll get the patch in the same week.
Other than that, I agree that some bugfixes are long overdue
Mmm, several other users have looked at our files/compared the updates and then there’s this:
Continuing our large-scale Big Brawl Update
https://treeofsavior.com/news/?n=579
It seems that patch wasn’t everything (and obviously didn’t include the features in the post I’m mentioning. It looks like there’s still a few more “waves” of patches to catch us up.
Though I’m pleased with the update itself as far as content that was in it with the first err… section? Part?

But I might be moving there for work @_@ up in the air and wouldn’t be for at least 6-9 months from now but I’m hopin!
