IMC, when the ban expires....?

i think imc should do something like…

"hi folks, its embarrasing that this happens to the game. Dev team has done necessary changes to the code to prevent it from occuring again.

to undo the damages done, we will rollback any attempt related to the cube to 24hours before.

all existing exp/silver/item progess will remain.

furthermore, to treat everyone fairly, we will reduce the 24hours cube wait time to 12hours until the next maintenance.

in addition, dungeon entrace has been raised to 3entries and 5entries for token user. This is until next maintenance as well.

and as gesture of appreciation, we will raise the spawn rate of shining mobs (silver/blue/red) to thank you for your constant support.

once again, we are really embarrassed and hope this incident will not demotivate our savior.

the path of savior is harsh n evil may hide themselves in many forms, even as bad as chrashing channel n induces exploit.

thank you folks and may the righteous prevail!"

sincerely, hue-master haukinyau

I like your idea, but you already know who we’re working with. I wouldn’t be against it if they [IMC] actually did that.

Sorry @haukinyau1, you know I have a zero tolerance approach to the people I’ve been trying to weed out since then (aka people who get ahead unfairly).

@Alyosha, even if they didn’t know anything about anything prior. No loopholes  The cube itself has a description and a very obvious timer after being re-assembled.

Still, if we are going to get permbans in TOS, then what will happen to the management? @hkkim is a famous candidate for a permban, not just from TOS but from the internet as a whole.

huehuehue

You chose to re-open something instead of reporting it to IMC.

Read the Terms of Service, and enjoy your ban.

So every time we find something new in the game even if it’s say a hidden chest or something we have to report it? No. I will go and open that chest. Maybe there are ways to open the mystical cube again, maybe there are way to guarantee a practonium and we haven’t found it yet.

The terms of service says I can’t open a cube? Whiteknighting is pretty funny.

“herder I read the Terms of Service” stfu

Yes:

No other than by cheating.

Seems we found a new knight type: Dark Whiteknight(cheater’s savior)

You mean like there are hidden classes and quests. There might as well be hidden ways to open the chests clearly since I opened it without cheating. If the game broke itself and allowed me to open it through no action of my own?

Jesus that was terrible kid. You gotta work on that a bit more.

You’re still trying to defend an abuse?
Oh god.

The point wasn’t to defend an abuse it was that they didn’t ban the people actually crashing the channels instead they just banned whoever opened the cube.

I don’t care about a ban I barely play anymore besides my daily runs. It’s infuriating that they say they did rigorous analysis to ban people when in fact they didn’t do sht.

Idiots like you feel the need to whiteknight the topics instead of complaining that they banned people who actually play and are part of the economy instead of the ones actually cheating and fking up the game.

Some commands that can crash an server in most situations will not generate a log when the crash occurrs before being registered in logs.
You send /pmp to game server, game server receive your command and can’t handle what you want and crash.

Most systems logs your actions when you sucessful request something.

Game economy will go ahead with or without cheaters. Less cheaters means a healthy economy.

Exactly. You do know the people crashing were enhancing items and tp. You know that the majority of people banned were just opening the mystical cube through TBL. Which one do you think is actually ruining the game? The people looking for practonium from the cube they worked to get and not crashing the game, or the people gaining hundreds of millions through enhancing equipment with no drawbacks?

Both.
People was opening cube will surely flood the market with practonium. Is pretty common people handle tons of alts to get practonium.

How would they flood the market with practoniums? You only get 1 from the cube. I got 2 practos 2 days apart on my other 2 characters when they first came out. They will get it eventually as they have already leveled to 317 and done the quest. In fact almsot no one sells their practoniums because they used them in order to keep plowing through the content.

Maybe we should have banned people who used Druids telepathy in pvp because it made others stuck. We should probably ban all afking necros as well because they are abusing the game. Ban everyone who got double rewards from uphill for months in a row.

This is the right way. IMC has the right to ban or not in the end and, in this mystical cube scenario, IMC chose the ban hammer. Simple as it.

And in the wrong way. People abused the channel crashing to transcend weapons at a low chance, use a few gems, if it fails, crash the channel and try again. These people aren’t banned, as it’s been shown that the ban criteria was opening your cube more than once during 24hrs. This is way more harmful to the game than getting the practonium faster.

You have to read. Hard thing I know.

You are exaggerating. You could get like one lv8 gem for 10 hours of non-stop playing and now we have:

That was a feature. Spirit of thanksgiving~

They are usually also the biggest whales. IMC won’t touch them because it cannot act like a proper publisher.

Hopefully crashrefine exploit was fixed and those weapons won’t mean much with new ranks. If iTOS will sirvive this.
