IMC trying to solve problems the wrong way

Look guys, i love the game, but i feel like IMC doesn’t really think all of the things that are gonna be affected before doing something, and how is it gonna affect the player base.

Lets say, they don’t want bots. so instead of implementing a mini game that prevents bots or something like that, that have been suggested numerous times here or on reddit, they go and up the price of the DLC, or make us have to wait 48hrs to take or money out of the market… or make trading restrictions…make the dungeon runs be generic and not per dungeon like it was in the CBT2

Look, so you know, i’m from Brazil, and yes we have a bad fame, but i NEVER cheat in any of my games… I only speak in English even when spoke in Portuguese (Brazilian language)… and i don’t mind people having that xenophobic stuff towards me… what i do mind is when a COMPANY do that… and here you might say its not intentional towards me, and it is towards the people exploiting VPN and stuff, but i’m being harmed, so i guess im in the cross fire too

I’m aware that is not only in Brazil that the prices changed… but with the price of the 1st DLC i can buy THE WITCHER 3 with the season pass and still have some money left, ask me what i would recommend people to buy?

And you might say, don’t buy it then, i already have it the 2nd one, and i was thinking on getting the 1st one…And in the future get some tokens, but i will not if the prices are like this

steam never allowed people to exploit prices with VPN in the past, I don’t know how it happens, it might be because its a MMORPG, but i think you need to sort your ■■■■ and not make the customer pay more

There was a topic of an ex-gold seller, and he said that he could easily sell his gold and do all the things with the system they have. and i believe him, because this methods don’t really hurt him, just delay his stuff, WHAT is a the witcher 3 plus season pass for a guy that benefits so much from it? that have a “business” over it?

but what is that to a normal working guy? to make it into perspective that is like 19% of the minimum wage over here…

Bots are gonna happen, but you have to let them NOT ruin your players lives… and in the process not ruin the players lives yourselves…

why would anyone buy founders pack 8 days before it goes f2p? where have people been the last 20 days?

It’s not just the founder pack, with regional pricing removed the future TP price will be way too high for most people. Even me from SEA, the updated founder price really surprises me as like OP said I can get an AAA game and still have spare changes. This will just force people to go f2p and not spend anything. But think of this, would you want to play a f2p game that are infested with bots and have lots of limitation, while not being able to get your hands on enchants and possibly stats/skill reset? I know I wouldn’t, and hell no would I drop 19% of my wage for it(using OP reference). The only reason keeping most people playing this game is to reminisce old RO moment with friends. IMC is just gonna lose players at this point, and its not just BR but everywhere other than Murica.

They removed regional price just before 30% discount happening at the end of april

and they blame RMT as usual , very suspicious
