So i got my gale slasher to +11… = +588 dmg
1401+588 = 1989
With its current stage 6, 120% transcendence the damage on the weapon is 3109-3670… Which does not add up…
(min)1734 + 120% = 3815
(max)1989 + 120% = 4376
whereas current sword is 3109-3670
Can someone explain how they do the calculation? or is this a bug? or false advertising transing? or wha?
Try the calculation with trans and enhancement additive instead of multiplicative.
As in +20%, +20% ect?
I mean like are you doing the +120% on top of the numbers with enhancement already added in? If so, that would be multiplicative? Try to see if the numbers work out correctly if you do enhancement and trans both on the weapon base attack. and then add both of them to the base.
Doing the 120% with the base damage 1401 is around 3000~~~
Transcendence doesn’t care if your weapon is upgraded or not.
Trans stage 6 with weapon base stats is equal to: 3082, so it I dont that this is correct either
Transcendence doesn’t apply to your anvil upgrade, this much is sure…
Do you have anything else applied to your weapon… say Weapon Enhancement or did it undergo Briquette-ing which can change the base values +/- a couple of percentages depending on what level was applied.

But doing the math myself, those values IMC produce are not correct
You sure you’re doing the math right? Remember that trans only applies to your base values:
Hence:
Base Max Attack = 1401
So compute like this: [1401 * 1.2 (this is 120% when used in Math)] + 1401 (base value) + 588 (anvil) = 3670
Compressed it looks like this [Transcendence Attack] + [Base] + [Anvil] OR 1681.2 + 1401 + 588 = 3670
Transcendence multiplies the weapon base atk at +0, then you add to that gems and enhance value.
Gale slasher +0 = 1146-1401. At trans 6 (120%): 2521-3082. Then you add the enhancement value (+11=+588)
Final Gale Slasher +11 trans6 = 3109-3670
SO it is false advertising a 120%

SO all they need to do to fix this is rework the Anvil enchantment to before the transcending, then we get actual % values on our weapons instead of w/e idea they came up with…
Do they though? I like it much better this way. Transcendence is broken enough as it is, no reason to make it even stronger…
Additive is better. There is no need to make transcendence even stronger.
I dont agree with it, but hey what can i do… they got all their devs busy with p2w methods instead of actual fixing the game… so this wont change anytime soon 
To state it concisely:
Transcendence only affects base damage of the weapon. Anvil upgrades and sharpening are not affected
weapon enhace and gems are not loger afected by the tracendance of the weapon. tecnically its a waste invest 10M-20M reaching tracendance over +21 to get almos 600 of plus damage (instead +16) thinking on that u will breake u weapon to keep the bless gems invested when the next tier weapons arrive
With the rebalance system, Transcen now only count your base weapon damage.
It might seem like a ‘nerf’ but in practice your damage increases will be similar to what it was before.
Though the new enhancement value also makes it a valid option to just aims for enhancing the weapon instead of investing in trans. (I think +16 is about equal to trans 5?)
