IF they keep the forums clean and request take downs elsewhere.
They can hord innocent new players in, hopefully in a better version of the game.
Without any bad pr of Korean TOS , with Nexon’s stupidty.
For people out of the loop: It was a thread where users debated on whether or not a group deserved to be banned in the Korean version for taking advantage of an unintentional spawn point where players could make millions of Silver easily, in which those millions of Silver were used to literally inflate the market, all while the group tried to convince other players to not go to that map (Via Korean forums) because it “sucked”. Some of the users were banned in the end.
Meanwhile on our forums and the Reddit, people are slyly insulting each others intelligence during the debate, and gossiping about the Developers being “family related” to some of the players and implementing patches just for their family members to abuse and bla bla bla… Now here we have Lawder, who doesn’t know that the job of a Community Manager is to keep a good PR look by deleting threads that go on for over 130 comments full of debating and lowkey-flaming over a foreign version of the game.

Well I think deleting threads is not the way to go about it. It simply breaches the players’ trust even more. They should simply made a concluding post to distance themselves from the KR version, then locked the thread and be done with it. Censorship is never the solution.

For us, there’s no news, and when there’s no news, players create it themselves. Unfortunately, the players mostly created bad news. You can read the good news here (Patches):

Ah, what I meant is that they should have clearly said this this is Nexon’s fiasco and we have nothing to do with it. Or better still, admit the parts that they ■■■■■■ up (I respect honesty and owning up when you’re called out for it).
I know that in the real world, PR means making a good image regardless of whether it’s true or not. So they’ll do things like delete posts/threads. But I don’t think that’s the right thing to do, because sincerity and thoughtful engagement with the playerbase is what would truly distinguish a company which genuinely cares from all the others out there.
When you’re partnered with someone via contract for the release of a game, the one thing you don’t do is call them out and/or publicly state you have nothing to do with bad actions that they take. That makes your company look unprofessional, and will deter other companies from working with you in fear that you may do the same thing to them. They have apologized for the issues that happened around the games release, to the Koreans of course, since they don’t need to apologize to our playerbase who don’t even have a version of the game yet.
Unfortunately, business and sincerity don’t mix (Well, rarely), and while they may not be Saints, they’ve done good to us Internationals by giving us an open-registration CBT for a month long, then extending it further by 2 weeks to make up for the F ups that went on during it. Then asking us for our input for in-game changes, website changes, and not IP-banning SEA from playing on this version after giving them a Publisher in their region.
With all the things that could’ve happened to us if we were given to local publishers in the West, I think we should be happy we’re under IMC themselves.

Im getting sick of this childish QQQ threads from “native korean here ™” about how their publisher ■■■■■■ up on release.
If i was IMC mod, i would delete this threads also, cause they have no relasion with international verion of this game.
