Once again, not everyone who got banned from DPK was an exploiter. They also plan to actually punish the people who did conduct trades with the obvious intent of profiting from this.
This is a huge assumption that isn’t fair to make, for many, many, many, many previously stated reasons.
There are people who farm items and don’t sell them in the market they keep them for themselves. Is stupid that imc only punish one side. IF you farmed more than one items is obviously that you exploit the glitch.
That’s also not true and a biased assumption. The first time I even heard about the DPK glitch or whatever was some guy in shout chat saying that he got a Nuka gem. Then a 2nd. Then a 3rd.
If you’re grinding Demon Prison for exp and you get a gem, that’s incredible. You don’t instantly know something is wrong and have no reason to assume that something is wrong because a gem dropped. The fact that he got three in that quick succession then indicates the fact that something is wrong, but by then its already too late.
Take one case to summarize all the people is bad. But something that White knight love to do.
Just take a loot at random FB fanspage, You can see how almost all of the people who exploit don’t try to sell the items and insta save for themselves. This is the real average not the case you posted.

grinding Demon Prison for exp
[/quote] Grinding in a low lv with a 200+ Characters. Come on… And with the experience event ongoing.
Pretty sure that guy wasn’t 200+.
Also you are assuming hypotheticals, at least I have an actual example. Assuming EVERYONE who got DPK items was an exploiter when the drop rate affected EVERYONE is completely absurd. Even if they choose not to drop them on the ground, they shouldn’t have to either.
The only people who can be proven to have malicious intent were the ones who immediately went to the marketplace, and those are the same people who will be punished. This is the best IMC could do. They could take away every single item, but that would suggest that none of those items would’ve dropped in that time either, which isn’t true or fair either.
@clerigoinquisitor
We will release another announcement specifying the different types of restriction to be applied and the list of restricted accounts.
Please remember that accounts which have circulated the obtained DPK irregular items through the Market or personal trade will be subject to restrictions.
and assuming that everyone was completely innocent is absurd too
I assure you, MOST, at least 3/4, of the people that are locked, knowingly and willingly exploited the fact that items had a low DPK
I never assumed everyone was innocent or guilty.
Also, you don’t know what most people were doing or thinking. None of us do, except the obvious instances. A hypothetical number like “3/4ths of people” doesn’t really help anyone or mean anything.
The reality is there is a mix of both and there is no way in knowing for certain. You can only punish someone’s actions, not their intentions. If their actions didn’t actually have any tangible effect on anything, there’s no reason to punish them super harshly, especially because as mentioned in several threads, this is IMC’s fault ultimately.
The players didn’t glitch anything to change drop rates, there was no hacking, this was the consequence of a botched maintenance.
A whole bunch of people, guilty and not, got banned preemptively when some of them shouldn’t have been. The items are being removed (except one), so no real harm has been done to the server. The harm that was done that could scare players away is being temp suspended for 4-7 days for something that (mostly) wasn’t their fault.
The only true issue are the people who somehow managed to evade the temp suspension and do still have their items and they will most likely be caught because they have a knack for bragging about it.
So because items dropped more often and people sold some, they deserve to be banned?
How does that make any sense? This is YOUR fault.
PLEASE PUNISH MY ACCOUNT, I REALLY WANT 11 LETICIA CUBE, ARE YOU CERTAIN THAT I DINT ABUSE? LOCK MY ACCOUNT AND SEE FOR YOURSELF, BUT PLEASE BLOCK MY ACCOUNT SO I CAN GET THESE CUBES. SORRY FOR NOT ABUSING TOO MUCH, NEXT TIME I WILL I PROMISE.
With love, Kobayashi_ SA/Silute
@voxandra
First, we would like to remind all users who are unable to access the server that their accounts have not been banned.
We have temporarily locked accounts in order to complete follow-up procedures that may take some time.
Due to users being unable to enter the game because of the time it takes for us to process these irregular items, as a show of apology we would like to compensate these players
We will release another announcement specifying the different types of restriction to be applied and the list of restricted accounts.
We haven’t published the list of banned accounts yet
Accounts which have obtained large amounts of the irregular DPK items, but have kept those items within the team by crafting them, modifying them or otherwise utilizing them, will not be subject to further restrictions. The items in question and subsequent products, however, will be seized.
See, I have zero problems with removing the items. That makes sense. What I can’t understand is banning people for it. Shouldn’t you just remove the silver from the accounts that sold anything in the 24 hours the problems occurred? Wouldn’t that be far more fair than banning then beyond the time they were already restricted?
Serious the difference is too ABSURD in the rewards, people who dint make anything wrong only get Exp/Reset/Multiply (Which is USELESS for anyone who is 317+, aka 60% of the server) while those who exploit will get:
([Event] Token: 30 Days x1
Letitia’s Secret Cube 10+1 x1
Enchant Scroll (14 Days) x20
Instanced Dungeon Reset Voucher x10
Earth Tower Entry Voucher (14 Days) x10
X Multiply/Exp-tome for X hour.
Please block-me too i dropped 1 caro antenna seize all my items from the bug, i dont care. just want the “exploiter’s reward”.
@muloki12

Exploiter whose accounts are considered to have abused the issue will not be receiving compensation.
Are accounts being unblocked as we speak? Or are you going through every account first and then unblocking them all in a few day?
Want to make sure if I should continue to waste my time attempting to login throughout the day or just give up.
@HowYouDoin We will put up a new announcement when we release players’ accounts, so you ought to keep an eye on the News page.
This won’t happen immediately though, as the investigations are still ongoing. Please check back later; we’ll try to be as speedy as possible.
You know. That is a contradiction. The people who save the items still incurring in a exploit. No waste time or money to get those items. was in they own beneficie.
“players more frequently exploit issues to gain advantage for themselves”
This is why people is mad. Most of the people abuse of this exploit not to sell the items but for themselves. And you are rewarding these people.
Dude you said by monday. It’s almost Monday. Can you atleast give an ETA for when we will see an announcement?
