As I see this huge amount of unaswered reported issues in many topics here I really hope that IMC postpone the F2P lauch.
The amount of bug reportings will reach a impossible quantity to deal with if the current problems are not addressed prior to the F2P launch.
Please IMC, be reasonable or at least say something about!
Remake F2P date until the server are stable!!!
December 2016 seems a good target to me.
I do not think IMC can reasonable change the date of F2P any more. They have changed the date so much, they need to just keep their word this time. First the F2P date was June 19th, then April 28, then âmid-mayâ, now May 10th. It is confusing and makes IMC look unreliable.
What I do think IMC should do though, is plaster the words âOpen Betaâ everywhere when the game goes F2P. Players will be much more accepting of bugs, imbalances, lack of content, etc. if they know it is a Beta and the game is not 100% finished yet.
When the game is stable and has enough content to call it an âOfficial Releaseâ, IMC can have a âRelease Party Eventâ and what-not, offer some cheap TP packages, and they will get a 2nd flood of F2Pers by doing it.
If IMC does not make it perfectly clear to everyone that this is an Open Beta and not an Official Release. I donât want to know how many bad reviews ToS is going to getâŚ

IMC HAS been perfectly clear that it IS NOT open beta. open beta was cancelled.
yes, thereâs that post that says âwe will announce the date for open beta soonâ. NOTE HOW PREVIOUSLY THE SAME ARTICLE SAYS âWe are very sorry we had to cancel the open beta and move to a foundersâ server with so little explanationâ
yes thereâs all those screen-captures about the beta announcements. GOSH I WONDER IF THOSE WERE DELETED BECAUSE OPEN BETA WASNâT HAPPENING ANYMORE.
wow, some of you are really desperate to cling to this idea that pretending itâs still open beta will somehow magically make things better.
Iâm not worried about server stability. Iâm worried about bugs, especially exploits like Over-Leveling attributes, knockdown visual bugs, head twitching, issues where background images disappear upon loading an area, ground disappearing during long play sessions, etc.
Not to mention any and all server crashing bugs that can be triggered by a single user. (Final Fantasy XIV has had these, so no doubt Tree of Savior has some too.)
Also, an âOpenâ beta is just that, open to everyone, paid or not. Final Fantasy XIV did an open beta for a week or two before its release, allowing anyone who didnât pre-purchase the game to sign up for beta access.
why? whatâs the worst that someone can get from that? 1% damage? a couple of % of block?
yes these are super critical.
what background images?
dude what? are you sure that isnât just your computer?
which would have any relevance at all if we were still in beta.
And no, it isnât my computer. Iâve poked around, and another player has confirmed that the ground disappearing and these black blotches are commonplace in the game.
âwaterâ does not equal âgroundâ.
but yea iâve seen that actually. i think it looks pretty trippy.
i wonder if it actually means something and we just havenât caught on to what the event in-game is.
(yea, itâs probably just a glitch, but imagine if we all thought that till someone accidentally triggers it.)
