Hey, it’s Impact xD Partied with him and some other people last night
Why should I ask for a healer in my party during quest run? If anything, they can just ask for a party and I will gladly help them.
The same goes for dungeon run, since the healer is more wanted there, we should be the one asking for healer.
It’s fair, it’s about the need and supply.

The exp need to be the same for normsl and pf.
I dont get why thry give pf more exp in the first place.
What does that have to do with roles in dungeons? Solo-group play has no direct relation to healing, just a group of people helping each other (in whatever way possible)
I dont really get your point at all, if you even have one. Obviously this isnt about people only wanting to solo, or they wouldnt join a dungeon run would they?
Im confused. How my initial post became a reply to someone instead of OP.
I’m just trying to say that there is no fix for “healerless dungeon” - you will have a hard time without supports.
Healers are scarce.

Well maybe if you stop KSing the healers you’d see more queueing in higher dungeons~
The lower level dungeons are flooded with healers to the point of making it difficult and long to complete. I saw at least 2-3 healers in every party in the 50 dungeon queue. Most DPS is just too far ahead.
Like I said in another thread it should try to match one from each base class and if it can’t just choose whoever. It’s doable though. Take some potions before going in.
I completely DISAGREE about the need of changing the matchmaking feature so that it makes “good parties” every time… but OFC i’ll explain why… it’s not something i thought about just because i wante veryone to have a bad time.
We have 2 ways of doing a dungeon:
1- make your own, probably balanced, group and get 450% exp from the dungeon run:
PRO:
- you get the classes you need for a smooth dungeon run
CON:
- you “only” get 450% bonus exp from the dg run
2- join a party via matchmaking feature and get 600% exp from the dungeon run:
PRO:
- 600% exp bonus to the dungeon run
CON:
- you might get a totally crap party and maybe even don’t finish the dungeon.
Both way have a very specific “risk vs reward” system that perfectly balance them… the players have tho choose to either play it safe for a little less exp OR risk it all for more exp… and this is the way it should be.
If the matchmaking system is changed to allow “good groups” making then it would totally cripple all the players that wants to go into dungeons with friends and such making the “Normal grouping way” totally undair.
IF they change the matchmaking feature to make it create good parties then they will need, absolutly, to completely take away the 600% bonus exp from it.
EDIT:
Let me add another detail… we have a little something called a “like system” in this game… and even if people use as a popularity meter begging for like… it’s use is to actually make it so that, when using the matchmaking tool, it actually rise the chances of getting into party with a player that you actually liked instead of one you didn’t like.
So we also have this to help even if just a little bit… or at least we wouls if people could actually read the tutorials in game and not act like little kids begging for likes in the same way if this was facebook and you wanted to be “popular”
Well, I am a healer and have gotten 2 other clerics in my recent past 3 dungeons so I may have bias. But this isn’t something that’s wrong with the game, you’re trading perfect trinity party setup for a lot more EXP.
Healer is not mandatory, if everyone in your party plays a different way you can survive without heal. If I have no DPS in my party I’ll easily focus on DPS with a little teamwork and grouping up mobs.
I also find Cleric to be one of the more difficult classes maining it in ICBT2 and now, it requires positioning and logic for good DPS. I find myself getting invited to parties all the time so I guess there are less clerics later game.
I normaly asking them to party up.if they dont react in no way then sory a solo player in an mmo you cant cry for ks its not you monsters in the first place.
Yes you will have a lots longer run and lose exp.healer run takes 15 min no healer 40.
Just manually look for one or use shout feature in game… Logic: If a cleric was using the dungeon finder, you’d also be able to find that cleric on the map to manually invite them. It’s not that hard - change channel to find the cleric, you have 4 people that can cover 4 channels. If you don’t find a cleric on the map then you’d not find a cleric using dungeon finder anyway - go do something else for the meantime or wait it out.
The price you pay for a faster group (and bonus EXP) is that you don’t get to pick who you get. Why do people find that so unfair when there’s an excellent alternative highlighted above?

All damage is avoidable, just as you dont need a tank, you also dont need an healer.
Well from day one i didnt have this luxury.
Lots of people as well.
Onlly one type of damage is, troll boy.
Tanks you dont need but healer is a must.
There is a need for diversifying classes into roles. Whether its the standard mmo trinity or a unique blend of roles it makes sense when you are doing a dungeon search to unify a team with a good balance the game requires. I would assume at least 1 tank role and 1 healer role would suffice while the other 3 can pick dps role. It would be up to the person searching to pick the correct role when doing said search.
The whole solo comment blows my mind. Seriously you think you have access to all your friends 24/7? Not everyone in my gaming group has the same days off, same work schedule, family obligations, and other real life situations that don’t concede with my playtime on ToS. So if I have the time to play - I will make use of the dungeon search feature.
No where did I mention about soloing in a MMO and making a convoluted statement that I think was suggesting to try better solo games.
