IMC open the servers this Friday!

Hi IMC!

Me and my friends have been long time lovers of ToS and we are so looking forward to start playing and will be paying for this access of course.

Now, since everything is obviously prepared with Steam (with sales starting real soon) and the server itself, why keep us from accessing it for a whole week? I think it will be better to open the server this Friday.

Why?

Because then people have the time to dedicate to really playing the game instead of having to drudge through work or school before getting to play.

It will bring in a weekend crowd from those who browse steam on a Friday wondering what they want to play, meaning more sales for you!

Everyone wins in this case, so please IMC, consider opening the founders server this Friday instead of next Tuesday!

no, just no.
if they open it on a friday there will be no one around to deal with any issues that comes with the launch, so the game would most likely be down for the whole weekend.

launching on monday or tuesday is optimal

That is just assumption on your part.
Plenty of other games have had a soft launch (and betas) during weekends and they’ve been fine.

I am quite sure that since we are paying IMC, they can afford having staff around during the launch weekend to ensure that the servers are stable!

They already chose the date. From what IMC has been doing, I doubt that they would even change it much less inform us about these changes.

Considering their latest update being that they are taking our feedback and considering changing their plans. I wanted to voice my and my friends opinions and maybe they will be taken into consideration too!

They might push back the opening date if they will be changing this as they’ll need to get the approval and such, but I doubt they will even consider opening it earlier. Because there’s no valid reason for them to do so.
