This happened on Wakfu once because someone forgot to back up one of the server’s for three months… Hopefully I never see this happen any where else ever again. 
Actually there is one MMO publisher that didn’t have back-up, and they lost 2 years worth of data. I forgot the name though.

oh i dont believe that they would do that, thats very unprofessional … in the worst of case they will rollback some stuff, and reward the players who was online in the maintime … this update i think is just taking time cause of some fix to the dungeon problems. soo it’s ok
