He only mentioned SA Silute’s lag, but the rest of the servers without “machine issues” also experience such lag.
I take granted that Orsha/Klai servers are the same ones used for the CBTs which already had connection and lag issues even with a very very low playercount compared to how many we have now.
So, when are we getting to know the truth?
At least they say they work on this problem.
Now we all know they will work on this and be relieved.I hope so.
They said they’re working on it since iCBT2 released.
How long ago was that? 9 months?
I am not, at any point, discrediting you OP but Silute’s situation was horrendously bad to the point that people would not be able to actually play the game for over 6~7 hours of the day because it would be the rush hours and the servers would be bleeding internally with cancer.
I play in Silute, I know how it is suffering. I just tried to log and got “cannot connect the server” instead.

Just because SA experiences lag it does not neccessarily mean that the lag experienced on Orsha/Klai is for the same reason.
And if the announcement only mentions SA and not the other servers it does not mean that they are denying that the other servers are experiencing lag.
If their news post was supposed to be only about SA then there is no reson to mention the other servers in it.
I’m still not getting where they supposedly “lied”:
In addition, our service provider has restricted our administrative
authorities as a precaution while defending against the DDoS attacks on
our game ‘Tree of Savior’.
Our machines are currently operating under severe limitations and we are restricted from adding or altering machines.
Where in there are they lieing? Could you point it out for us?
They’re saying “hey, our machines are currently under DDoS attacks. The servers are currently working with very heavy limitations due to the DDoS attack and we are currently not able/allowed to add more server power to it or change their configuration. We already know that simply adding more server machines could solve the problem, however since we are not able/allowed to simply add more server machines we can’t solve the problem this way right now.
That being said : we’re currently looking for alternatives for solving the lag problem.”
My best guess would be that either their management does not want them to buy more server machines (“too expensive”) or korea does not want them to screw around with the server configuration or the TOS server software simply does not support more server machines right now.
They blame the lag on a DDoS, if that is the case then the server has been getting DDoS’d since iCBT2.
If they blame DDoSs for the current lag, why do you immediately link the current lag to the lag from iCBT2? They didn’t even mention lag from iCBT2 in their news post… DDoS attacks are not the sole possible cause for lags. Just because they are experiencing DDoS attacks right now it does not mean that they claim to have suffered DDoS attacks since iCBT2, there are many reasons why servers can experience lags : many users, many botters, bad ISP connections, hardware issues, software issues, etc.
Got any reason to believe or even proof that the reason the server lags right now (DDoS attacks) is the same reason why it lagged in iCBT2?
Or do you just feel like suspecting and telling us they lie, without providing any proof, because you are not happy with the lag right now?
They don’t blame the DDOS for the current lag. They say they have poor machines and they can’t get an upgrade because the machines are locked (due to DDOS). So it’s not actually the DDOS that creates the queues, it’s the bad performance of the machines the servers are running on.
At least that’s what IMC wants us to believe… But honestly, why would AWS lock the server management for IMC in case of a DDOS? From a business point of view that just sounds like super bad support from AWS. Except IMC was being cheap and didn’t buy any support packages and a bad SLA on their servers.
They said that for Silute, but Klaip has the exact same issue.
So they lied.
@Siete I updated the post I made earlier. Added second paragraph. Also, I wasn’t saying IMC is not lying… I was saying I think your argumentation was flawed.
How is my argumentation flawed?
They said there’s lag in SA because of a DDoS and poor machines, yet so there is high delay in other servers which they didn’t mention to be hosted in poor machines or be locked by AWS because of a DDoS.
You might wanna read the statement again. Again, I’m not opposing you here.
Why not tell us the source of the problem sooner?
I can’t talk in regard of other servers, but Silute has been a stable server by only a week at most since its launch, before the start of the attacks and these limitations. Since then, the servers always have some kind of problem, ranging from lag to connection issues and dungeons.
I have friends that STILL are trapped in maps or can’t go to certain maps/channels, even after many weekly (and periodic) maintenances that says fixed those problems. They have to use external tools to keep up playing (and with worse stability than the game already offers). Oh, are those tools forbidden you say? And the tickets? They are automatic responses saying that they will look up on those problems, but no solutions.
You have to give these problems ultmost priority. We are so behind patch updates from korea because of that too. You are losing time, players, and now that the packs started, money too.
Really IMC team, lets be frank, the reason to come open now of the source of the problems is because you guys started selling cash itens, and now you have a physical reason to justify not compensating these itens in case of loss because of server stability.
@STAFF_Max and Team, Im tired of ranting and of hearing rants, we want solutions. We want honest feedbacks of the problems that are happening. You guys always asks and thanks for our support and love for the game. We are asking you the same.
Dude, these lag issues date since the very start of iCBT2.
Unless the DDoS hasn’t stopped for like 9 months, it is not the issue causing lag.
I do suspect the game’s program as moving/attacking increases ping considerabily.
Lag problems always existed, I know, but my complain is not just about ‘lag’.
■■■■ the lag problems! I was able to play the game smoothly in the first days of Silute.
Every game has lagging problems now or then, the problem here is the server not offering a stable gameplay, and people not being able to play it normally., and the lack of clarity with the issues happening.
Lag just adds up.
