IMC, let us trade cards already please

You’ve already allowed us to put them in team storage for a while now, and since the game’s inception (or some point thereof) you put in card battles, in which you lose cards to other players. At this point, it’s obvious that you intend to allow us to move cards between characters and between other players, so can we please just make cards tradeable already? Cards are at a premium now that they don’t drop from quests and that we actually have a reason to level them up. Now that they all have effects, obviously people will want to and do trade them. It’s kind of silly though that the only we to trade them is still through card battles.

The best scenario is when you’re trading one card for another, in this case, both players can play the cards. The player who won is set, they got the card they were trading for and still has their original card. All they have to do now is keep playing the card they wanted to trade away until they lose, hopefully they lose on the first turn and both players walk away with having traded cards and not lost anything.

What happens often though is that card deals aren’t that smooth or straightforward. Most of the time, people are trading cards for talts or other items. First this requries a level of trust, you either give your items away upfront, or you give away a card up front and wait to get paid after. Second, and worst of all, is that the person trying to win the card is stuck using their own cards to win. If you’re lucky, you’ll win on the first go, get the card and not lose any cards. Most of the time, however, you won’t be that lucky, in some cases, you can end up giving the other play 5-10 (if not more) of your own cards just to win their 1 to complete the trade. The sad thing is, even if those 5-10 are “worthless cards” you just lost a good chunk of card exp to level your card to level 10.

My point with this, probably already too long post is, card battle is an unbalanced minigame that I have honestly never seen a single player actively play just for fun, I’ve only seen it ever used to trade cards. You already intended for cards to be tradeable between characters and between players. Just flip the switch and let us trade cards in the trading window please.

I agree.

They should also revamp the card battle game to make it more interesting. Make it an actual card game.

yea, I think if it was actually fund and had some skill attached to it, it might actually entice people to play.

Yes, please. It’d be so much fairer now that cards drop far more rarely. I could kind of understand before they really had any use other than for certain classes.

Also +1 for the card game becoming more than it is. It’d be a fun addition to the game. Several other games/mmos have a robust card system and other minigames for their players. While I adore ToS there does need to be more “just for fun” stuff that’s easily accessible to players.

…I kinda wish Card Battle was like a wild Druid fight except you could tag in other Cards within assists and cooldowns. Like mashing Yugioh with Marvel vs Capcom or something.

As for trading cards, fair game. They’re not particularly super rare to warrant the monster gem treatment, but they’re common enough now to be spread around now, so allowing it to be tradeable should be fine.

This has been boggling my mind after i bought a lvl 10 ellaganos card last time it took me like 12 cards before i won , i ofcourse cannot do anything to recover the lost cards hope you guys let us trade cards and let us use misc items to upgrade them maybe change the values according to grade ? Upgrading cards atm really sucks just because our only means of upgrading is using cards themselves.

Yes I second this.

Also pls allow recipes to be traded via team storage. Makes no sense that we can’t give our alts recipes our main doesn’t need.

It might be cool if playing the card battle was a way to level up the cards with exp, and losing would drop the card lvl or something similar to anvil upgrading.

It could be pretty fun to pass some social time by trying to lvl up cards if it was a largely time-consuming alternative to just killing farmable bosses for their cards.

I wish there was a form of poker with boss cards to play though, not just the wheel of fortune thing we got right now.
