I love to play Tree of Savior because it looks pretty similar to Ragnarok Online and it is an old style MMORPG. So I decided to play it when it was free on May 10th. My first experience with the game is bad Steam Reviews and the status of the game is Mixed. However , I ignored it and download the game , after about 5 - 10 minute the download was finished and I started to play it. At that moment I had a small problem with the log in and it took me 10 more minutes to join the game.
I created a new character and started , I was excited because the game looks great and kute , but the game is lagging so bad , my fps keeps jumping up and down between 35 - 59 FPS. Sometime the game was flashing backward and delay even though my PC is good (Core intel I5 - 4690k , GTX 970 4gb , 16 Gb Ram with H80i Cooler Master etc). Then I decided to change the game setting - I ticked off Apply bloom , Show Other Character’s Effects , Apply Background Effect and Use Camera Vibration . I also chose Low Mode for Performance , change Resolution to Full Screen and turned off Vertical Sync. Luckily my game was better , the FPS was around 80 - 150 , no more lag and delay or flashback. I was feeling good because I solved the game’s problem.
After 2 - 3 days playing the game I decided to use my money to buy Token and sadly there is no way that I could use real money to buy Token. So I checked TP Shop and figured out that I could use in game silver to buy Token. At that time I was so happy , I started to farm mithril ore because the price of the ore is nearly equal to 1 Token excluding tax . After 6 hours I got my first Mithril Ore and I put in on Marketplace. However the system told me that I need to wait until May 16th to sell the ore. Then another problem appeared on May 16th , I sold my Ore and earn around 250k including tax which is 35% (Tax rate in this game is ridiculous if you are a F2P player). I clicked on the Retrieve option on the marketplace and BUMB I could not retrieve it instantly because of the freaking stupid 48 hours restriction. I tried to calm myself down and I told myself that I could wait.
Few hours later I was accidently retrieved all my premium mail which includes Dungeon Reset Voucher and Exp Tomb on my Alternative character ( I still dont know how I got the Premium mail) and there is no way I could use the Team Storage unless I am a token user. At that moment I was raged and I felt that IMC was trying to piss me off one after another. To be honest , I believe whoever set the 48 hour restriction on marketplace is a dumba.s.s and whoever does not fix it is a bigger dumba.s.s . No way to purchase token unless you buy a Pack is another stupid idea.
I dont know would IMC games listen to players or not but I believe the company is really good at pissing me and other players off. Tree of Savior is a very good and potential game but if IMC games does nothing the company will destroy their own game real soon .
